Blue Rock Depths is an area accessible from a door in the Sandy Cavern.
Features
Blue Rock Depths is a large underwater area shown from the perspective of a CRT TV. The area's floor is light blue, littered with dozens of blue boulders of varying sizes, and decorated with differently-shaped patches of what seems to be a reflective liquid.
Strolling west of the entrance will lead to an arch-like formation of blue pebbles on the ground, and entering it from below will transport Urotsuki to a small yellow room with a pedestal, a large stone gate, and what seem to be loose ropes or wires. Continue through the gate to enter Flowery Ponds.
Interacting with the pedestal will lead to the Scale Model Exhibit and unlock the connection there; however, you must enter the main area of Blue Rock Depths if you went through the Miso Soup Dungeon route, or else the connection will be one-way and will not unlock from the other side.
Directions
- The Nexus → Cipher Keyboard → Amoeba Woods → Sandy Cavern → Blue Rock Depths
After unlocking the connection between Scale Model Exhibit and this area:
- The Nexus → Cipher Keyboard → Amoeba Woods → Scale Model Exhibit → Blue Rock Depths
Trivia
- Some of the shapes in the background seem to resemble connections to The Nexus, including Rock World, Pudding World, Purple World, and perhaps Heart World. There is also a mushroom similar to the Mushroom World connection.
