The Pansy Path is an area accessible from Shield Owl World.

Features

The Pansy Path is a rainy and intricate path where multiple pansies with different colors and various missing characteristics surround a path made of flowers. Its appearance is loosely reminiscent of the Footprint Path in Yume Nikki.

The Pansy Path A

This area is a small and straightforward path that serves as the starting point from Shield Owl World, where multiple pansies can be seen throughout the entire section. It leads directly to The Pansy Path B.

The Pansy Path B

This area is the largest and consists of an intricate labyrinth inhabited by NPCs which possess pansies for heads, which also serves as the main hub for all the various connections to this world. This time there can be only found the red and blue pansies scattered around the map, all missing their upper petal, with the addition of a few differently colored ones which, when interacting with the appendage near them, make a weird face and a noise for a second, in similar fashion to the Goppa in the Footprint Path.

In the lower-left area there can be found a huge teddy bear made up of various sewn fabrics sticking out of the ground with a rip in the belly, which when entered leads to the Patchwork Playroom.

In the top-right area there can be found a huge ladybug that leads to Lapine Forest when interacted.

In the top left area there can be found an angel-like NPC surrounded by the aforementioned pansy NPCs that when interacted teleports the player to Blooming Blue Lagoon.

Patchwork Playroom

The Patchwork Playroom is a small circular area which, as the name implies, seems to be made of various pieces of fabric sewn together that make up the floor and the walls of the area. The area is inhabited by small, gray creatures which bear resemblance to Urotsuki and by a pink, blocky NPC which all move towards the player, with the latter moving at a slower pace. There are various objects and NPCs that can be found near the walls of the main room, and are as follows in clockwise orientation from left to right: a green ottoman, a cat, dog and bunny sock puppet, a large teddy bear with a hole as its face, a purple ottoman, a sleeping aforementioned Urotsuki-like creature, a living pincushion, a bear and mouse sock puppet, another sleeping Urotsuki-like creature, a gray smiley face with antennae, a red ottoman, another taller smiley face and a yellow snake-like NPC.

The top-left entrance leads to a small room inhabited by two NPCs that look similar to each other, with the left one spinning and the right one swaying their head left and right. Chainsawing the left NPC and then interacting with it leads you to Cog Maze with no return.

Trivia

  • The Pansy Path B's shape loosely resembles that of a pansy.
  • The Pansy Path B used to be just a large, linear path that lead to a Teleport Rune that teleported the player to the Intestines Maze. This connection was later removed and the section was updated to have more paths and connections in version 0.126.
