Windmill World is a small, looping area accessed through the Sewers.
Features
Windmill World is relatively small and does not have many notable landmarks. The background consists of a strange, multicolored piece of abstract artwork slightly resembling a hand or face. The music consists of a low droning noise vaguely resembling fans whirring.
The world can only be accessed after being eaten by Big Red in the Sewers. There are two notable parts of Windmill World and only two NPCs that inhabit the world. One section consists of cubic stone structures with one having a doorway that gives a one-way access to Block World. Another part of the world has six short windmills with the Fisherman next to them. Interacting with the Fisherman will play a short drum-like beat before Madotsuki is teleported to The Docks.
Near the center of the world is the Cube Guru, an NPC with a cubic head similar to the structures found in the world's northwest section. It will spin its head when interacted with and can be moved with certain effects to sit on its pillow.
Directions
The Nexus → Mural World → The Sewers → Windmill World
Trivia
- The internal name for the area, 座敷洞, can also be translated as "Tatami Den", with tatami being a type of Japanese flooring. Interestingly, in the graphics for the chipset of the area, sprites for this type of flooring exist, possibly hinting at a much different design for the area.
- It is the only location other than the ones belonging to the Nexus to have a static background, although it did not have one in older versions of the game.
- An unused event in version 0.09 known as NASU Link had the character from NASU appear in this location. Interacting with it would lead the player to the unused FC World C.
