Vending Machine

CalcarinaSeaVendor1.png Found northwest when arriving from Robotic Institution. To reach it, go left one star, up two stars, left four stars, and then up one star.
Jihanki calcarina sea.png Found in the night version, southeast of the switch that toggles the world between day and night. In order to reach the switch, starting from the vendor in the day version: head left four stars, up four stars, and right one star. At this position, once the world has been toggled to the night version: go down two stars, right four stars, down seven stars, right two stars, and finally up one star. This vending machine consists of magenta neon outlines, which match the style of the area.

The Calcarina Sea is an area accessible from the sand door in one of the rooms in Robotic Institution.

Features

Calcarina Sea is a looping area of interconnected, star-shaped land masses, along with beach equipment such as beach balls, umbrellas, watermelons, inner tubes, and beach chairs all over the place.

Using the Teru Teru Bōzu effect, unless it is snowing, will fill the pits with water, giving the area a bluish glow, and it will also make the area's inhabitants appear, frolicking around.

Within the area is a stand with a sign featuring Urotsuki wearing a Penguin costume. It operates like a vending machine, and you can buy cups of shaved ice topped with differently colored syrups for 100. The cups have a red symbol on them.

There is also a switch that changes the area into a night version with neon outlines of the surroundings, where starfish and floating rectangular objects inhabit the area this time. The hovering pink stars block some of the paths. Using the Chainsaw effect on them will make them release bubbles and let out a shrill sound before disappearing and occasionally dropping 100夢. The shaved ice stand, the star that leads to the snowfield, and the door to Robotic Institution will not be present in this state. A unique vending machine can be found here, selling items for 100夢 each. Using the switch again will revert the area to its normal state.

North of the entrance and east of the day/night switch, near a vertical line of beach chairs, is a star creature connecting to Tranquil Park. This star will not be present in the snowfield or night versions of the area.

South of the entrance is a star with sunglasses that roams around slowly; interacting with it will lead to Fallen Star Craters. It will only be present if you have gone from Fallen Star Craters to this world using the connection there.

Calcarina Snowfield

If the in-game season is winter, you will be able to make it snow with the Teru Teru Bōzu effect instead. After using the effect to make it snow while standing on a white star found north-east of the entrance, the area will become a snowfield. The shaved ice stand and the switch will not be present in the snowfield.

Inside one of the igloos is a black-haired woman in an orange dress, sitting down. Her ponytail will stop curling if the Crossing effect is active, and she will temporarily disappear when chainsawed. One of the igloos has a construction sign in front of it, hinting at a future connection.

Trivia

  • Prior to version 0.115 patch 4, there was a kitty balloon present in the map that sent Urotsuki to the Winter Valley.
    • Prior to version 0.115a, it sent Urotsuki to an empty map.
