ASCII Symbol Zone is a world accessible from the floppy disk in Vivid Blue Flatlands and a link in Barcode Plains.

Map of ASCII Symbol Zone.

Features

This world, as its name dictates, is made majorly out of ASCII characters, serving both as decoration and as the background. You can also find many keys, which work as small chairs for Urotsuki to sit on. Stepping over the blue sui (水) character will take Urotsuki back to Vivid Blue Flatlands.

There are three pop-up windows across the world. Two of them seem to reference other 2kki worlds (Restored Character World and Scribble Notepad), while the other one has a picture of a cola bottle, with the text "Pure Cola" written next to it in katakana. This last pop-up serves functionally as a vending machine.

If you go west from the entrance, you will find a partially blue spacebar. Interacting with it will temporarily change your menu theme. North and slightly west from the space key is a mouse; interacting it will grant you a cursor mask, whose appearance can be changed by interacting with the nearby grey key. Slightly northeast from the cursor mask is text that says "Barcode" (バーコード) in Japanese. Stepping over it leads to Barcode Plains.

Scattered through the world are two coloured keys, that will drastically change the world's colour scheme after being interacted with. One of them is west from the mouse, which will tint the world purple, and the other one is north and slightly east from the entrance, which will turn the trees orange. Both keys can be interacted with again to remove their tint.

Trivia

  • This world has been heavily inspired by the removed ASCII World, being a reimagining of it.
  • Before 0.125f patch 1, the connection to Barcode Plains used to be unlockable from this world. This has been changed to a regular connection.
