Grayscale Mountain Ring is a world accessible from the isolated section of Grayscale Bookshelves from Wetlands of Tranquility.
Features
Grayscale Mountain Ring is a monochrome area consisting of multiple small sections. Tall mounds of terrain block Urotsuki from exploring the outer area, where various trees, small patches of grass and gray tiles can be seen.
Entering from the isolated area of Grayscale Bookshelves, Urotsuki starts off in the main area where Atama Kaoku resides. Interacting with it will warp Urotsuki to the underground.
The underground is a small area consisting of narrow paths, Yuurei can be seen floating in the background. From the entrance, going to the right one can see Ribinguai on the ceiling; at the end is a cliff where the Thing with Two Vertically Positioned Eyes and Samishii can be found. Going south leads to another section of the main area containing a lump that, when interacted with, makes Ananite-chan appear.
Entering from Vivid Blue Flatlands, Urotsuki will be sent to an isolated area of the underground that connects directly to Ironashi Coast.
Entering from Barcode Plains leads to a dead end containing an eye on the floor and a QR Code above. Stepping on the eye will activate the もてない event, where eyes will appear all over the ground. This area cannot be escaped from, so the player is forced to use the Eyeball Bomb effect or wake up.

Trivia
- This area is heavily inspired by the White Desert Mountain Ring from Yume Nikki.
- The もてない event is similar to the CRIMSON WATCH event in VIBRANT SMILE WORLD.
- This event can be deactivated by stepping on the eye that activates it.
- It used to be inaccessible prior to 0.124i.
- Both of those events are similar to the ああああああああ event in Yume Nikki, especially the eye variant in Lamp World.
- The QR Code can be seen furthest to the right from the Grayscale Bookshelves teleport without requiring to enter from Barcode Plains.
- It simply reads “わ”, which coincides with the frequent appearance of that hiragana character in AcceleratingWind’s worlds.
