Floating Catacombs is an area accessible from a tunnel in the Viridescent Temple.

Features

The Floating Catacombs, being a deeper part of the Viridescent Temple, is a dark, dreary expanse with cubic structures like in the aforementioned world, which feature neon-green mushrooms growing out of them, where some of the structures here are floating in mid-air, as the name implies.

One of the cubes in this world will glow if you bump or interact with it.

By heading slightly north and then immediately east in the main area, one will come across a staircase to an interactable floating cube. Backtracking after doing so will reveal a monstrous figure emerging from the staircase, and going further will take you to the Fossil Lake.

Shortly southwest of the aforementioned staircase leading to the floating cube, you can find a passage on a wall, to a small area filled with these glowing mushrooms, where that passage can glow by using the Fairy effect, making it easier to locate. Among the mushrooms are some hallucigenia-like worms that quickly disappear with approaching footsteps, but remain if the Fairy or Spacesuit effect is used. Entering this area will give you Wallpaper #284 and Wallpaper #381.

If you have the Bike and Wolf, you will obtain Wallpaper #326 upon entering the area.
