Map of Holiday Hell

Features

Holiday Hell starts off in a white, elevated pathway, starting in a circular area surrounded by trees. Along the way are six peepholes, each hosting a unique event that costs 200 each to view.

Open the table below for descriptions and images of each peephole and their associated events, in order of appearance.

Peephole Description Image Notes
Peephole 1.png A smooth animation of various spinning elements, including a red face, two blue crescents, five green fish, and two large, yellow crescents. Peephole 1 event.png
Peephole 2.png A calming, first-person scene of a fishing boat at night. Peephole 2 boat.png After exiting this event, Urotsuki will appear to be wearing a tall hat with a fishing rod on her back.Fish fear her.png
Peephole 3.png An unsettling scene of two human figures against a wavy background, as frightening ambience plays. The figure's face in the foreground has a visible albeit blurry eye and mouth. The figures themselves periodically distort and become wavy. Peephole 3 noooope.png
Peephole 4.png Jimbo, the worm also found in Giant Desktop, is seen bobbing and spinning its head around rapidly, as if dancing, while the plain background behind it changes colors. Peephole 4 WOO YEAH WOO.png
Peephole 5.png In a presumably first-person shot, Urotsuki appears to view a reflection of herself viewing the peephole. After a second of silence, a hollering noise is heard as the screen suddenly zooms in on Urotsuki's face, and a bang is heard. When the screen cuts back, Urotsuki is seen laying on the ground, losing any Effect she may have had on. Peephole 5 uro.png This is the only peephole event where the player cannot voluntarily exit.
Peephole 6.png A monochrome, still image of three humanoid sculptures in an unknown, hilly location. In the center of the image is a structure resembling the number 4. Peephole 6 men.png
  • The number 4 shown may be referring to the four beds required to enter the Horror Maze.
  • The location shown is reminiscent of the White Desert from Yume Nikki.

At the end of the path is a tunnel with a face, where entering it takes you to the main section, which consists of four different sectors representing different holidays in bizarre manners: Christmas, Halloween, Valentine's Day, and Easter.

Christmas Sector

The Christmas Sector is a snowy plot of land that's decorated with rather gruesome-looking, bleeding snowmen and candy canes.

Slightly West from it's center lies an igloo that Urotsuki can enter. Inside the igloo is a blonde-haired girl that wanders around and eventually makes a snowball that she will attempt to toss at the player. If she succeeds, she will giggle and (presumably) bury Urotsuki under the snow, making a snowlady out of her. You can easily escape this and redo this as many times as you please.

Additionally, you can also kill the girl with the chainsaw before she hits you. She will let out a high-pitched shriek and give the player some Yume when killed. After this when you leave the igloo her ghost will be seen wandering the sector. Interacting with her then makes her giggle.

Another feature in this sector can be found North-East, where a narrow path leads you upwards to a large blue creature with a single eyeball.

Halloween Sector

The Halloween Sector is a black plot of land decorated with tombstones and jack-o-lanterns. Urotsuki can jump into the graves, which then will teleport her around the sector to a different tombstone. A hole is present on this sector, but Urotsuki will refuse to jump into it. One of the tombstones leads Urotsuki to a small island with a girl in black and a spooky tree with a tire dangling from one of its branches. Urotsuki can sit on the tire of the tree, and interacting with the girl causes her to giggle.

Attempting to use the Chainsaw effect on the girl will cause her to dodge Urotsuki and jump into the tombstone. She will then appear on the main island, fleeing from Urotsuki. While the Crossing effect does stop her, she will jump over the player if they attempt to interact with her in any way. However, if she is led to the lone hole of the main section, she will become stuck inside. This allows Urotsuki to kill her with the Chainsaw effect, giving her Yume and causing the girl to appear on the main island as a ghost.

Valentine's Sector

The Valentine's Sector has a heart-tiled flooring and is decorated with what appears to be branches that impale lighter pink hearts, as well as having a few unharmed hearts as well. There also is a box of "chocolates" to be found here, but it's filled with what seems to be disembodied fingers instead.

Heading North-East in this sector you will find two hands with pink nails forming a heart shape, which also serves as a portal. However before Urotsuki can enter it willingly, a girl will spawn out, giggle and give chase. You can outrun her by returning to the crossroads where the sectors meet, making her giggle and retreat. If Urotsuki gets caught, she will throw her down into the portal and down into what seems to be the girl's room where you can find her playing video games by herself. Urotsuki can take the place next to her and play along. If you leave this area without chainsawing the girl, she will continue to throw Urotsuki back down. If you kill the girl, she will let out a shriek just like the igloo girl and appear as a ghost in her respective sector, also giggling upon interacting.

Easter Sector

The Easter Sector has orange flooring with large eggs scattered all around. Upon interacting with most eggs, with the exception of a darker egg that has tongues or tentacles emerging from it, a creature will briefly emerge, make a sound and then retreat back.

Heading South-West you will find the angry NPC from the Oriental Pub, interacting with it here however sends you to the Test Facility. Going slightly East and North from here you will find a girl on a beanbag with a strange rabbit standing next to it. To the left is an egg-shaped vending machine that dispenses a few different eggs for 100 Yume, some of which having unique effects that mirror Urotsuki's own.

  • A penguin egg (can be given to the girl and also be returned to you, slides one tile after hitting the ground when dropped)
  • A rainbow egg (Makes the screen brighter. can be given and returned)
  • An egg with wheels (Makes Urotsuki walk faster when held. Can be given and returned)
  • A semi-transparent egg (Makes Urotsuki transparent when held, same goes for the girl. Can also be given and returned)
  • A blue/white striped egg (can be given and returned, tossed forward one tile when dropped instead of two)
  • An egg-shaped bomb

When you give the bomb to the girl, it will explode and therefore kill her, giving you Yume as well. Her ghost will be seen wandering around, giggling upon interaction. (Important to note, when you are holding any item from the vending machine, bunnies will block the entrance/exit. Either drop the item you are holding or kill the girl in order to be able to leave again).

Trivia

  • The tall hat Urotsuki obtains after viewing the event in Peephole #2 is likely a reference to "Fish Fear Me, Women Want Me", a slogan used in apparel that is geared toward fishing hobbyists. It is commonly parodied in memes that feature comedically absurd and often over-the-top edits satirizing the slogan.
  • This area shares its map alongside many of the author's other worlds, including Test Facility, Ice Cream Islands and Tribulation Complex.
