Mural Passage is an area accessible from Deep Space Hole.

Features

Mural Passage is a series of narrow hallways and small rooms. Many different works of art are found throughout the walls. It features two states, a non-neon and a neon state. If this area is entered from Deep Space Hole, it will be in the non-neon state, and if entered from Neon Centipede Caverns it will be in the neon state.

After traversing the hallways towards the right from either entrance, there is a small room where a switch can be toggled to change the area to the opposite state. Doing so changes the color scheme and BGM, but otherwise mostly preserves the layout. In the neon state, additional NPCs can be found in the rooms. The state also affects how Tusuq Warmi's interactions work. Furthermore, the connection to Neon Centipede Caverns is only available in the neon state, which can be accessed by interacting with the artwork that depicts a head with an open mouth.

In the hallway prior to the hallway that leads to the neon switch room, heading all the way to the right leads to another hallway where Tusuq Warmi can be found. In the neon version, she is always found at the end of the hallway, but is unable to trigger a few reactions in this state other than Soulfire which produces the typical result.

In the non-neon version, she is usually absent where she would have been in the neon state, with the room looping back to the start when reaching the end. However, there is a 1/3 chance that she will be present in the middle of the hallway each time the area is entered. Interacting causes a full screen image of her face to appear. Interact with Kalimba equipped for the Tusuq Warmi's Dance event.

In the neon state, beyond where Tusuq Warmi was (after using Soulfire), there is one last small room with a switch on a wall. Interacting with it unlocks the Mural and Neon Mural Menu Themes. Tusuq Warmi respawns on the next visit to the spirt world.
