The Reflecting Electron Zone is an area accessible from the Virtual City.

Features

This is a short area set in a dotted matrix that houses several electrons, which appear as flashing green dots that bounce about the grid. The electrons themselves appear to exhibit basic physics, as standing in their path will cause them to deflect off of Urotsuki, producing a pinging noise. By standing on a blank dot and pressing the action key, you can produce another bouncing electron. If the Crossing effect is used, the electrons will predictably stop moving.

If you have made it all the way here from the Home Within Nowhere, a floating stack of red, green, and blue books belonging to Shimako can be found here, who is initially completely invisible. If Crossing is used, Shimako is revealed to be the same dark-haired girl in a striped top that initially appears briefly in Adabana Gardens, albeit at an older age. If she is interacted with, Urotsuki will balance the books on her head, or she may trade headwear with Shimako in return for her books, provided the player has collected one from the hat stand within the bedroom of the Home Within Nowhere. These books can be brought back and placed on the statues in Field of Cosmos.

Trivia

  • Shimako, as she appears here, is an allusion to Mafurako from the original Yume Nikki.
