The Nexus is the starting point of Mariana's dream world, serving as the central hub binding the rest of the dream world together. It is accessible by exiting through the door in Mariana's Room after falling asleep.

Features

The Nexus is a simple, monochromatic room, similar in appearance to Mariana's Dream Room, which a door at the center of the northern wall leads back to. Each portal in The Nexus connects to a different area:

The trapdoor leads to the Lamp Forest.
The staircase leads to the Ashy Desert.
The ladder leads to the Mauve Shoal.
The hole leads to the Old Factory.

There are also connections that can be unlocked by entering The Nexus from that world. These connections include:

A gate that leads to Rainbow Scratch Park.
An arch That leads to Black Lace.
A window that leads to Misty Forest.
A door that leads to Subnexus.
