The Test Facility is an area found by interacting with the NPC in Oriental Pub when angry, or in the Easter area of Holiday Hell.

Features

The starting area of the test facility is a fairly small, stark-white test chamber or observation chamber of sorts littered sparsely with toys. Upon one of the north walls is a viewing window, where three people, presumed to be scientists or researchers, are seen observing or studying the chamber's residents.

Urotsuki will find herself being held captive here, alongside several other strange creatures and people. These captives include:

  • A blue, hatted teddy bear with a disturbed or hysterical expression, who is curled up near the NPC that leads back to either Oriental Pub or Holiday Hell, depending on where the player had entered.
  • An anthropomorphic fox in a green sweatshirt and blue pants who occasionally wanders and looks around. Chainsawing them will cause their shirt and arms to fall off, leaving them as a head with legs; chainsawing them again will kill them.
  • A mangled, blue creature housing a smiling black worm that occasionally pokes its head in and out of its maw. Chainsawing the blue creature will cause it to disappear, leaving a frowning unsheltered black worm in its place. This worm can then be bloodily killed by walking to it.
  • A round navy-blue creature with a sharklike fin that hops around.
  • A floating, gray orb or head with a neutral expression.

Near the viewing window is a red ball, which Urotsuki can kick around, causing it to bounce. Next to the bear is a red button which, upon pressing, causes the ball to disappear. In its place, a different colored ball appears after being dropped from the ceiling, resetting its location. Closer to the exit is a purple Jack-in-the-box that can be turned. There is a 1/700 chance a blue worm will emerge from the box, accompanied by the sound of a cheering crowd as the player is granted 10,000 Yume.

At the far right of the room is an open doorway leading to the facility's Dungeon Maze.

Dungeon Maze

Annotated map of the Dungeon Maze.

The Dungeon Maze is a brief, vaguely medieval-looking maze area with mesh walls, dangling chains, and large, dark doorways, where the player may traverse. There are little to no points of interest here otherwise, aside from a single, endlessly looping room housing a creature or person being suspended from chains or hooks, possessing multiple arms.

The moody NPC from Oriental Pub may be found in the bowels of the maze, wearing a tired expression. Interacting with it will bring you to Abandoned Grounds.
