Pale Corridors is a location accessible from the tall brown door in the Mini-Nexus.
Features
Pale Corridors is an almost completely black-and-white area with doors taking Urotsuki around to different islands featuring staircases and gothic fence gates. Lampposts can be seen floating on tiny islands in the air.
A long staircase may be found through one of these doors, and continuing down it will progressively darken the screen and slow the music to a halt, eventually ending at two gates with a door in the middle. Inside the door is an isometric room inhabited by a green and white cloaked NPC and accompanied by a pleasant tune.
The cloaked NPC will close their eyes and flee if the Chainsaw effect is equipped. They will disappear when chainsawed and revive when the area is revisited. Using the Crossing effect will make them freeze. Leaving their room will return Urotsuki to the Mini-Nexus. Equipping the Fairy effect in their room and flying through the hole in the wall will take Urotsuki to a normally desolate isolated section of Candyfloss Sea, where a pink-haired NPC can now be seen sitting on a bench with a stick of candyfloss.
From the entrance, following the stairs all the way down and using the doors at the bottom of them, then continuing through the doors to the right will lead to a section shown in the first image below, where the top door will go to a monochromatic vending machine and either right door will go to the long staircase.
Directions
- The Nexus → Portrait Purgatory → Reverie Book Piles → Illusive Forest → Torii Trail → Blue Screen Void → Sunset Hill → Swamp of Remembrance → Moonlit Street → Mini-Nexus → Pale Corridors
