The Sculpture Park is an area accessible from the passage in the tree-filled section of the Stomach Maze and a portal in Sugar Road.

Features

This wide, looping area is a dark, forested environment, scattered with haniwa statues as well as forts, monoliths, and garden plots. Using the Haniwa will make the eyes of these haniwa statues light up. By going into any of the passages leading to the Stomach Maze, and returning to this area, you will end up in the same passage that you have exited from.

One point of interest here is a circularly-positioned set of monoliths, where there are blue creatures called Goopies frolicking around, as well as some disk-like objects on the round. There are umbrellas on the benches, which Urotsuki can use upon interaction. Equipping one of these umbrellas unlocks Wallpaper #366. Mailboxes are placed around the area, where their appearances are determined by equipping some effects: faceless if the Marginal effect is equipped, eyes similar to a haniwa statue with the Haniwa effect equipped, which also light up when used, and eyes closed upon equipping the Chainsaw. Chainsawing the mailboxes will net you 600.

The forts with diagonally-positioned hand statues with pointing index fingers next to them lead to a small room with a portal that takes you to Sugar Road upon interaction. There are two rectangular robots that lurk the area, set at random locations. Interacting with the robot with a pink eye will reveal the location of the blue-eyed robot, who when interacted with, will launch its head into the sky, taking you to a Purple Forest Path.

Purple Forest Path

Purple Forest Path is a secondary area swathed in a thick forest of purple trees, much like the prior area, with various buildings whose eyes follow Urotsuki. Down the initial path, there's a tall pole with a strange bird perched atop who does the same. This path leads to a blue robot which brings you to a brief teleport maze, where interacting with other blue robots will warp you throughout the area.

Near the end of the maze, one can find an area with functional playground equipment, such as a swing set and a jungle gym with a slide. This area has another teleporting robot leading to an isolated point of interest, where two of the buildings are seen locked in one another's embrace. The swing set has one seat taken by a some discarded snacks, though Urotsuki can swing on the other one. Urotsuki can also go down the jungle gym slide; if she uses the Bike however, it will fall down the slide, allowing her to slide down without it. Up north from the jungle gym, there is a pathway that takes you to a small area. This area overlooks the park, and there is an abandoned bouquet of roses in the bottom left corner. If you step on the bouquet and go through the entrance present here, you will be taken to the Parking Garage.

Trivia

  • In a tweet by 2i9, the swingset in the Purple Forest Path's playground originally allowed the player to swing in a circle instead of back and forth in a large arc. This was revised due to unforeseen technical issues, but was later successfully implemented in 0.122g Patch 1.
