Blood Cell Sea is a world accessible from one of the crystals in Erythrocyte Maze.

Features

As implied by the name, this area is a dreary, looping, aquatic environment where red blood cells wander the surroundings. From the entrance, going one column west and three rows south leads to a hole to the Tree of Life.

Tree of Life

This is a small area with a pastel-green tree on the northern portion. A reflection of Urotsuki can be seen on the ground.

Interacting with the tree will pan the camera upwards, revealing its upper portion. By chainsawing the tree, the area will take on a dark, eerie appearance: the Tree of Life in its Qliphothic state. Using the Glasses here will briefly reveal a mirror image of Urotsuki near the tree's roots, with a sinister smile. Interacting with the tree will show Urotsuki on the treetop, whose state is determined randomly: this could either be sitting down, lying unconscious, or as a child. Upon leaving the area at this state, the Blood Cell Sea will take on a macabre appearance, in which it is now red with blood. Going north of the entrance to the Tree of life at this state, you will be taken to the Stuffed Dullahan World.

With the tree chainsawed, an event can be triggered in Red Lily Lake, where a silhouette of Ninetails traps you in the Splash Streetway.

Trivia

  • The area's Japanese name, srom, is "mors" or "death" in Latin spelled backwards.
  • The reflection of Urotsuki can be bugged out if one down towards the border of the map.
