Vending Machine

Y2 Wheat Field VM.png Normal

Wheat Field is an area that is accessible from Stagnant Bottom by interacting with the lamp inside the room, with a small chance to change its appearance and take the player to this location upon exiting.

Features

This area comprises dirt and stone paths through golden fields of wheat waving in the wind. Wooden bridges connect parts of the paths. A section of the field has been cut down and packed into hay bales.

Returning to the room and flipping the lamp on and off will eventually send Urotsuki back to the main area of Stagnant Bottom.

A unique vending machine will open its eye and stare at Urotsuki as she walks near, closing it if she leaves the vicinity. This vending machine seems to require a random amount of Yume (夢) per purchase.

Using the Lantern effect while standing in a patch of wheat will cause the screen to turn black for a second. The screen will fade back, revealing that all the wheat has been burnt. Doing this will also change the background music and dim the area. Inside the room, the music is slowed and the windows show the charred wheat. Exiting and returning via the lamp will revert the area to its usual state.
