Vending Machine

Jihanki laundromat.png This vending machine has a pink color scheme, and is sometimes made inaccessible by stray laundry baskets.

The Laundromat is a big laundry house accessible by going between two blue blocky structures in Fluorescent Halls.

Map of the Laundromat.

Features

The Laundromat is a strange area filled with corridors and drawings on the walls. Each door leads to a different room with washing machines, some active and some not, and a few plastic laundry baskets. The washing machines that are working can be stopped by using the Crossing effect.

Everytime you leave a laundry room, there is a 1/8 chance that certain plastic baskets will block your path, to counter this, just simply reenter and leave the laundry rooms until they are gone.

From the Fluorescent Halls entrance, by going right until the first passage that goes north, then up until the first passage to the left, then entering the first room, you will find a tiny blue creature hiding in one of the laundry basket on the table, interacting with that basket will take you to the Azure Depths. The room next to the one previously described has roughly a 2% chance per dream (Variable #44 with a value of 250 or more) that one of the washing machines has a shrimp inside instead of clothes.

Going down from the entrance instead, then going right and entering the first room you see, will bring you to the same regular room, but with a yellow googly NPC in it, interacting with this creature will take you to the Wine Cellar. This creature also reacts to the Crossing effect and the Marginal effect. A pink vending machine can also be found at the left side of this corridor.

From this last point of interest, following the passage south, then going right until the third door to the right will lead to a room apparently similar to the others, however, equipping the Drum effect will make a tiny drum will appear in one of the basket on the tables, which leads to Oil Drum World on interaction, however, it is a one-way entrance.

Additionally, a short passage going north can be found next to the room with the connection to the Wine Cellar, which has a lone washing machine. If at least 10000 have been donated to the shrine in the Maple Forest, this washing machine will have a 1/65536 chance of leading to a small room with three dancing shrimps, which give 3000夢 when killed. A big, red shrimp in a basket can also be seen in the room, which leads to the Floating City on interaction. The chance of the shrimp replacing the washing machine can be reset by reentering the area.

Floating City

The Floating City (枯山町, Dry Mountain City) is an almost empty, looping area above the clouds with red and white buildings and some scattered plants on the floor. Additionally, some of the buildings have ladders, allowing access to its rooftop.

Atop one of the buildings is a girl with spring green hair who normally looks away from you, but reactions uniquely to several effects. Her lack of a head is exposed when using the Glasses or Invisible effects, and when equipping the Chainsaw effect. Using the Fairy, Wolf, Telephone, Insect, Trombone, Maiko, or Grave will catch her attention, where the latter two effects will make her delighted to see you. The Haniwa and Marginal effects will both draw her towards you, however using the second of the two causes her to violently jump up and down with an ecstatic expression on her face.

Apart from a unique Vending Machine, nothing else can be found here.

Directions

With the Lantern effect, after unlocking the connection to Digital Forest from Fluorescent Halls:

Trivia

  • This world shares the same map with the Star Hub.
  • There is an unreachable laundry machine on the top right of the map, which connects with the Floating City.
  • The pink vending machine located in this area used to lead to the Sunken Treehouse when the conditions were met before version 0.118b. As the event located to the connection got blocked and not removed, it's possible that the area will return in a future version of the game.
  • The Bat effect cannot be used here.
