The Serpentine Pyramid is an area accessible by interacting with the gray statue of a snake in the depths of the Fossil Mines.

Features

This area is the interior of a large, Egyptian-style pyramid. It is heavily occupied by green snakes, who get scared when the player is using the Penguin effect. Many of the pyramid's rooms contain assorted objects, including floating pyramid-shaped objects, golden pillars (quite a few of which have been knocked sideways), urns, and sand streams pouring from the ceiling. Some rooms and halls are flanked with purple snakes.

After going through the spiraling maze, the player will find the throne room, which contains a black cobra wearing a crown. If the player equips the Haniwa and Cake effects together, the cobra's animation will play faster. With the Penguin effect equipped, the cobra will close its eyes. Using the Drum will make the cobra smile. With the Chainsaw effect, the cobra will have a panicked expression and spin in place. Killing it rewards the player with 1000夢. After doing this, upon leaving the room and re-entering, a crown-less cobra will be running around the room in its place.
