Features

Whipped Cream World, despite the upbeat-sounding name, is a world filled with many disturbing objects and shapes, most notably gigantic bodies without legs or hands sitting upright in the cream. Many of them are headless or faceless, some of them are sliced open to reveal strange lumpy objects, one has two heads, and one has a hand where its head would be. You can even find some that are actually several bodied strung together, side by side. Other objects in the world include dollops of whipped cream and more of the strange lumplike objects, some of which are propped up on stalks. One worm-like NPC in this area will make a tinkling noise when interacted with.

From the Butterfly Passage's main area, you will enter the first section of this world from a tumor-like monster with a gaping maw. If you go west from here to the first body you see, then go north, you will find 4 tablets. By north traveling between the middle ones, you will be taken to the second section.

The second section of this world contains a large forest of stalks, plants, and dollops that you can navigate through on the north side and pass a wall of conjoined bodies to reach another clearing, with odd stacks of rhombi and boxes with strange inscriptions. Going northwest from here leads to a larger clearing with several igloos, either empty or containing white plant-like NPCS that move or make sounds upon interaction. Southwest of the igloos, there is another tumor monster whose mouth serves as an entrance to a short path in the Butterfly Passage that connects to the Overgrown Condominium.

If you head northeast from the first clearing rather than northwest, there is a short path to three floating tablets that, when interacted with, teleport you to the world's third section. This area is very unlike the previous two as rather than stark white, it is dark, stormy, and full of green vegetation. Many purplish, armless creatures that somewhat resemble Fresno Nightcrawlers roam the area and make a short noise when interacted with. Equipping the Teru Teru Bōzu effect will make the rain turn into snow. To the north is a giant green building, the entrance to which can be found by following the path left of the floating tablets. Two stone baboon heads flank the door that, when entered, causes the screen to pan upward before taking you inside Monkey Mansion.

Trivia

  • The identity of the white slime in this area as whipped cream is inferred mostly by the Butterfly Passage. That area has several whisks and a slime monster being swarmed by bugs and prodded at by utensils- which, when combined with this world's Japanese name, "Whip", implies that the slime is likely meant to be whipped cream.
  • The objects you walk out of to enter the world, with their multiple eyes, teeth, and hairs, somewhat resemble teratomas, a kind of tumor made from germ cells (cells designated to undergo meiosis and become a sperm or an egg cell). They are infamous for growing hair and teeth.
  • The Teru Teru Bōzu effect will only summon snow in this area and the passage to the Overgrown Condominium.
  • Before 0.112i, this world was accessible from the Sea of Clouds via a gaping mouth.
