The Sewers is an area accessible from a staircase in the Dark Room.
Features
Arriving from the Dark Room, the Sewers start on a rainy path dismal with sewer pipes below it. Urotsuki can stop the rain by using the Teru Teru Bōzu effect, or by using the Rainbow effect, which will make a rainbow appear over Urotsuki once used. There is a big flight of stairs at the end of the path which will take Urotsuki to the Sewers' interior. She can get down faster using the Spring effect or the Bane Jack mask to jump down from the left side of the stairs.
Once inside the Sewers, there is a waterfall on the next path that you can see Urotsuki through if she passes underneath it. The main area of the Sewers has dark water with red hands coming out of it. At the end of one of the paths, there are two red creatures kissing one another. If Urotsuki has slept fewer than 5 times, one of them will disappear and the other will be sadly opening and closing its mouth. There is also a blue head in the water and a shadowy plant-like creature in the background. As Urotsuki progresses, she will reach a ladder leading up to Japan Town.
The other section of the Sewers is accessible from the staircase at the left end of Japan Town, which is more darker than the first one, requiring the use of the Lantern effect for better visibility. On the left of the first passage is an entrance with a sign leading to Japan Town's Underground Bar. On this path there are also lotus flowers floating on the water near the staircase. If she follows that path east, she will come to a room that has a staircase with statues of the deity from Marijuana Goddess World beside it. When Urotsuki goes up the staircase, it transports her to Rough Ash World. If she goes left, however, she will be transported to Monochrome Feudal Japan.

Trivia
- On the top level of the sewers, just above the zig-zagging flight of stairs to the lower floor, is an inaccessible ledge with a large red object partially visible on it. This object is actually an enormous red hand which cannot be fully seen in-game through normal means.
