Features
It has the appearance of a playground, curiously located on a hill or a floating island, anything that makes the ravines possible. The foreground is represented by black silhouettes of recreational equipment such as a slide and a (partially damaged) swingset. The ground, also a black silhouette, is heavily jagged, thus the playground appears to be vegetated or at least forbidding.
The Playground is made up of several dark land masses separated by gaps. The background consists of a sunset sky, with a cityscape barely visible in the distance. The foreground consists of black silhouettes of jagged ground, a door, abstract shapes, a building, and playground equipment such as a slide and a damaged swing set. The main area is a straightforward path with a gap in the ground that prevents the area from fully looping.

In the middle of the playground, structures with a checked pattern connect to a floating island right above it. This area is only accessible if you've entered a certain area of the Symbols Maze and explored to the connection it has to this "upper" part of the playground. Right within the structures, a door to the Black Caves is found. Strange, curly, floating "islands" are located next to the checked pattern structures.
Upon entering from the Nexus, Aby the Phantom can be seen sitting on a cliffside to the east. However, if Fluorette walks to the west to loop around to the cliffside, the phantom will have disappeared.

At the left of this area, a small silhouette house connects to an elevator to the Underwater Ship.
Instead, the player must interact with the seat on the swing set. Note that Fluorette must be front-facing for the interaction to work. This will cause the seat to swing, making a loud creaking noise accompanied by a resounding laughter. Returning to the cliffside will make Aby visible once again, and interacting with her now teaches Fluorette the Phantom prayer.

In the background, a striking sunset / sunrise illuminates the area, with strong colours going from yellow to red to purple to a deep blue. The vague form of a large city far away can be made out as well.

This floating area is only accessible through a connection in the Symbols Maze. Smaller floating islands with curly vine-like structures also accompany the large island.
Upon entering you'll see a Phantom which you cannot interact with at first due to the gap between ledges existing there. She's found to the left of the map, but will be invisible as soon as you've walked up to her area.

Interact with the broken swingset, and you will hear her resounding laughter. This makes her reappear, and she will teach you the Phantom Prayer once you've spoken to her.

The Playground is one of the four main areas accessible from the Nexus and can be entered through the red door.

Map of Playground

Features

The Playground is made up of several dark land masses separated by gaps. The background consists of a sunset sky, with a cityscape barely visible in the distance. The foreground consists of black silhouettes of jagged ground, a door, abstract shapes, a building, and playground equipment such as a slide and a damaged swing set. The main area is a straightforward path with a gap in the ground that prevents the area from fully looping.

Upon entering from the Nexus, Aby the Phantom can be seen sitting on a cliffside to the east. However, if Fluorette walks to the west to loop around to the cliffside, the phantom will have disappeared.

A black doorway to the left of the swing set leads to the Black Caves, and the hut all the way to the left leads to the Underwater Ship.

In the middle of the area, structures with a checked pattern connect to a floating island right above the main area. This floating area is only accessible through a connection in the Symbols Maze. Smaller floating islands with curly vine-like structures also accompany the large island.

The floating island accessed through the Symbols Maze does not currently have any notable elements other than a broken down Game Boy, which does nothing but play a noise upon interacting with it.

Trivia

 • The silhouette-like area and the phantom character/prayer bear resemblance to the video game Limbo from 2010. The first release of Answered Prayers was in 2010 as well.
 • Some early concept art of the game showcases an area similar to the Playground, albeit with a light-purple sky instead of a sunset.
 • Because of the presence of the broken Game Boy, it's possible this area will be updated to lead to Game Boy World, or an area related to it.
