YNOproject FAQ

Questions and Answers

Generalities

Q: What is YNOproject?
A: YNOproject stands for Yume Nikki Online Project and aims at providing Yume Nikki fangames on a web browser, playable easily online with your friends with no installation required. All games outside of Yume Nikki (due to contacting issues) are hosted with the authorization or in partnership with the author(s) of the fangames.

Q: How does the site works?
A:

Q: What is synched between players?
A: Sprite of the player, map and coordinates, sound effect (some are set as not synched), pictures used as the sprite of the player)

Q: How can I follow the development of the site and games?
A: You can follow the development of YNOproject on our Tumblr and X (ex-Twitter) accounts, and we also have a Discord server.

Q: I like this project, how can I support it?
A: We don't accept donations in accord with the rules created for hosting Yume 2kki, but you can still spread the word around you, contribute to the collaborative fangames on the site such as Yume 2kki, Uneven Dream or Collective Unconscious, contribute to EasyRPG (the engine used by YNOproject to play RPG Maker 2000/2003 games), or try to help directly the project itself, by making badges, emojis, translations or UI improvements.

Q: I'm the developer of a Yume Nikki fangame and would like to make it available on the site, is it possible?
A: This should be possible by contacting the team, but here are some info you need to know:

  • The fangame needs to be made with the RPG Maker 2000, RPG Maker 2003 or EasyRPG engine, other engines are not supported.
  • The fangame should not have stolen assets/assets used without having the rights for them, as well as not having intellectual properties that you do not have the rights for: if this happens to be the case, these assets will have to be replaced or removed. Assets from the RTP and other assets where you have the proper license for using them in the fangame are fair game.
  • The fangame needs to be in English (or not be in any specific language, like Yume Tsushin), to be accessible to as many people as possible in the community. If this is not yet the case, the fangame can receive an English translation made by us or you specifically for the YNOproject release if needed.
  • Modified versions of existing games or modified versions of existing fangames (e.g. Yume Nikki Hazard) is a no-go for online implementation.
  • Due to us using EasyRPG as the engine of the project to play games, currently unsupported features from the engine like video support or some features of some patches like Maniac or DynRPG may be unsupported, and a workaround may have to be done in some cases.
  • Note that we have no warranty that your game will be accepted.

Q: I'm a fan of a specific Yume Nikki fangame and I would like to ask if it could be added to the site, is it possible?
A: If you are not the person making a fangame but you would be interested in having it be hosted on YNOproject, note that in addition to the points mentioned in the previous answer, we would need to have the authorization from the developer of the fangame requested (so the game needs to not be completely discontinued/cancelled).

Q: What happened to the online version of the fangame Lcd Dem?
A: When a proper guideline for the site was instated back in November 2021, it was decided that since no authorization from the author of the game was given and that said developer was against having this game be reposted, Lcd Dem should not be present on YNOproject and as such was taken down.

Q: Mobile controls are displayed on-screen and I would like to hide them
A:

Q: Oops! Looks like something went wrong. See the browser console for details. To open the console, press F12 or right click then click 'Inspect'.
A:

Q: I'm using a specific UI that I've selected from the site interface, but it does not sync with my username color and badge gallery background, is it normal?
A: The menu theme used for your username color and for the background of your badge gallery always matches with your in-game menu theme and not with the UI theme selected for your YNOproject page, this is intentional.

Account Management

Q: What is the difference between a guest account and a YNOproject account?
A: While both guest accounts and YNOproject accounts can play and write in the chat, there are some differences between them:

  • A guest account cannot use more than 10 characters for the username, due to having brackets surrounding the name, while a YNOproject account can have up to 12 characters.
  • A YNOproject account's name is unique and cannot be used by two different players, which is not the case for guest accounts.
  • Some features are not available for guest accounts, notably, badges cannot be obtained, expeditions cannot be done, screenshots and rankings cannot be uploaded to the site and your save file cannot be synched with the site.
  • Guest accounts are limited to one device and session limiting them, while YNOproject accounts can be used on several devices and sessions.

Q: I've lost the password to my account, how can I recover it?
A: In the YNOproject Discord server, go in the #feedback-and-dev channel and ask if a mod could reset your password, by specifying the name of your YNOproject account. Make sure that you have your DMs opened to let the mod send you your new password.

Q: I'm not satisfied with my username, how can I change it?
A: Similarly to the case of a lost password, go in the #feedback-and-dev channel and ask if a mod could change your username, by specifying the name of your YNOproject account and the new name that you would like to use. Note that if the name requested is already taken, we will not be able to do change it. Alternatively, if a mod is active in-game, you can also ask them to directly do that while on the site.

Q: I would like to start over my ranking, expedition and badge progress while still keeping the other data on my account (name, parties, save sync), is it possible?
A:

Q: I no longer want to play on the site and would like to disable or delete my account, is that possible?

Badges

Q: What are badges?
A: Badges are a feature exclusive to YNOproject accounts, and work in a similar way to achievements and trophies. They are icons created by the community which are unlocked when doing a specific action while logged in your account on the site, and you can consult your list of badges and how to unlock new badges in the top-right corner of your screen, by clicking on the 🚫 or badge icon. A badge can be used as a profile picture by equiping it, and they can be used to illustrate your badge gallery.

Q: When do new badges are released?
A: Badges are released every Friday at 4:00PM EST, and new badges are released when a game arrives on the site.

Q: What are BP?
A: BP stands for Badge Points, and are obtained by collecting badges. They can be used to expand the badge gallery in height, have more slots to post community screenshots, and have a tab in the rankings for them. Note that hidden badges, which are badges not displayed at all in the badge list until unlocked, do not grant any badge points.

Q: How can I submit a badge?
A: To submit a badge, here are the following instructions to follow. Before starting, make sure that your idea is not already implemented in the game in some form, that no one has reserved or made a badge for the same idea and posted it on the badge sheet, and that the area you want to make a badge for is not locked for badge reservations (see next question). Once done and if what you want to do doesn't conflict with any of those, you can start to make your badge by following the criteria below, and, if you're afraid that someone reserve the same idea than you for your badge before you finish it, you can reserve your badge by using the form or posting a request in the #badge-proposals channel of the Discord server and then make it later.

  • The art of your badge needs to be a 37x37 png. A 37x37 gif can also be submitted if you want to have an animated art, in addition to a 37x37 png static version of it that will be used outside of the badge gallery and badge menu.
  • Make an original art and don't rip the sprites from the game to reuse them in your art.
  • The art needs to represent the content of what you want to show, and as such not be unrelated to the condition you want it to have.
  • The condition of your badge needs to be possible to track, not revolve around glitches, and needs to not conflict or be too close with an existing badge or a badge waiting on the badge sheet. In terms of trigger, here are the elements that can be tracked: Map, coordinates of the player, previous map, if a specific picture is displayed on screen, status of a/several switch(es) and/or variable(s), and interaction or collision with an event as long as something occurs by doing so. This means that for example, unless the developer of a game coded a check for that, it is not possible to track the time past in an area, if all of the creatures were killed in a room, or if a specific creature is present on screen or interacted with if nothing occurs when doing so.

Once your badge is done, you can either submit your badge by using the form or posting it in the #badge-proposals channel of the Discord server by giving its name, game, name of the author, condition text, art, art usage status (Free to modify, Requires Contact or Must be used as-is), its completion status and its number of BP (should be a multiple of 5, and it must not be 5). Additionally, you can add a description for it, give its internal trigger (this does not correspond to what should trigger it, which is already what you listed in condition, but is rather what internally triggers it, such as the map, coordinates, event...), add a note in the note section, or request its condition or art to be hidden, or ask it to be an hidden badge granting no BP if the idea corresponds to that.

Q: Which content is locked for badge reservations?
A: The following content cannot be reserved or has restrictions when it comes to badge making or badge reservations:

    • In Yume 2kki, badges made for spelude's worlds require spelude's approval to be reserved and implemented.
    • In Collective Unconscious, badges for the world Reverenced Flower and for the Sign Passage of Crystal Access cannot be reserved due to being planned to be reworked later at some point.
    • In Collective Unconscious, badges tied to getting a specific number of book covers, tracks or eidola is currently not possible due to the game being a bit too early for that which would make them be outdated quickly (in addition to tracks not having a track number tracked).
    • Badge reservations and submissions for OneShot are currently closed.
    • Areas that are planned to be removed or heavily reworked in a game are closed too, due to being planned to stay only for a small amount of time or due to having to change completely the condition, art or internal trigger later.

Q: I haven't played in a while and since then, I've noticed that some badges disappeared!
A: In some cases, a badge can be removed due to being linked to an in-game content that no longer exists, or due to being requested by the author of the badge. In the latter case, another artist can still ask to make an art for the same in-game condition that was removed.

Q: I'm encountering an issue with unlocking a badge, or a badge gets unlocked while it shouldn't have, what can I do about that?
A: The best thing to do when something like that occurs is likely to either report in the #feedback-and-dev channel of the Discord server, or report in the in game chat, though it may not be noticed if no moderator is around when this is reported (Also, it is known that the Triple-Decker Cake badge can mistakenly be triggered by buying another snack or visiting the Map Room in Virtual City due to how its trigger is handled, so this one doesn't need to be reported).

Expeditions

Q: What is an expedition?
A:

Q: Which games support expeditions?
A: Currently, every game on the site outside of OneShot (2014) support expeditions. OneShot doesn't support them due to not being able to work for such a structure.

Q: How many different types of expeditions exist?
A: 5 different kinds of expeditions exist:

  • Daily expeditions last for one entire day and start each day at 00:00 GMT+0. The first daily expedition in the menu gives 1 ExP point and leads to a world whose depth is between 2 and 3 (3 and 5 if the game is Yume 2kki), while the second daily expedition in the menu gives 3 ExP points and leads to a world whose depth is between 4 and 6 (5 and 9 if the game is Yume 2kki). There are always two daily expeditions available at a time.
  • Weekly expeditions last for a whole week and start each Sunday at 00:00 GMT+0. These expeditions give 10 ExP points and lead to a world whose depth is between 7 and 10 (11 or more if the game is Yume 2kki). There is always one weekly expedition available at a time.
  • Weekend expeditions last for 2 entire days and start each Friday at 00:00 GMT+0. These expeditions give 5 ExP points and lead to a world whose depth is between 6 and 9 (9 and 14 if the game is Yume 2kki). Only one weekend expedition is available at a time.
  • Special expeditions are expeditions that are created for special occasions, like Christmas, Valentine's Day or Tanabata. These expeditions can lead to any world from any game, and can give a certain amount of ExP points depending on the place. They usually last for 1 or 2 entire days, to make them accessible to as many people as possible. Since they are reserved for special occasions, there are usually 0 special expeditions happening at once, though there can be one or several happening at the same time depending on the current occasion.
  • Free expeditions are available if all of the daily, weekly and weekend expeditions that are possible for the game selected are done, or if the game selected doesn't have any expedition at the time. They last until the next day at 00:00 GMT+0, and are replaced by another free expedition if completed. They can lead you to any world past the hub of the game, but they don't give any Exp point and only serve to fill your number of expeditions done and places visited in expeditions for the rankings, as well as discovering locations. Only one free expedition on a game is available at a time.

What do the stars mean below a location?
A: The stars are there to show you the difficulty to reach a location based on its depth, with the more stars being there, the furthest the area is from the Nexus. If an area has semi-transparent stars, it means that while the real depth of the area is the one displayed by counting all of the stars, the depth of the area can actually be shorter by using a shortcut, which will correspond to the difficulty displayed with the semi-transparent stars removed.

Q: What is the Vending Machine Finder?
A:

Time Trial

Q: What's a time trial, point and differences
A:

Q: Which games are supported?
A: Yume 2kki and Collective Unconscious are the only games that support a Time Trial Mode.

Q: How can I start a Time Trial?
A: Hold Shift and Right after selecting Start on the title screen in Yume 2kki, and Shift and Left after selecting New Game on the title screen in Collective Unconscious.

Q: Can I do a Time Trial by using my savefile?
A: No, it is no possible to do a Time Trial by using a save: a Time Trial has to be done from a new save and no save can be done during this mode.

Q: How does the in-game time is counted?
A: The time that is counted for the timer starts when you are able to move in your room, and is paused while being in the effect menu and during loading screens.

Minigames

Q: Which minigames are not supported for the rankings and why?
A: The following minigames are not available for the rankings:

  • NASU from Yume Nikki with the Konami Code doesn't exist as a ranking due to the game not tracking its high score (even though this is not what we track), and due to being too easy compare to the original mode.
  • FUJI from Yume 2kki is not tracked due to having the character being too slow to properly be able to play, making you lose while you couldn't do anything very quickly, which wouldn't be fair for rankings. If you're interested in playing it in rankings instead, FUJI EX, which can be accessed by pressing Shift on the title screen of FUJI, has rankings.
  • SHINSOKU NEKO and SHINSOKU NEKO EX from .flow are not tracked due to having the eel combo allowing you to reach the highest score very easily.
  • CARTOON BOY from Amillusion doesn't has rankings due to several bugs in the game allowing its difficulty to be highly reduced. Rankings for it should be able to be reimplemented once those bugs are fixed.
  • ZApNeF from Someday are individual levels where the maximum score can be reached, due to not being an arcade title type unlike the other minigames, and as such doesn't have rankings.

Community Screenshots

Q: What are Community Screenshots?
A: Community Screenshots PLACEHOLDER. Public screenshots can be posted on the Tumblr and X's (formerly known as Twitter) YNOproject account on some occasions such as tours, and are automatically reposted in the #dream-tv channel in the YNOproject Discord server. Note that once a screenshot has been set public at least once, setting it back to private will still display it in the #dream-tv channel and the only way to no longer have it be displayed there is to entirely delete your screenshot, so be careful.

2kki Explorer and 2kki Navigator

Q: What is the difference between my progression on the site and on my save file?
A: The Yume 2kki Navigator only tracks where you have been while playing online on YNOproject, and doesn't track where you have been offline or in your save file. Furthermore, the in-game progression tracks maps while the navigator tracks worlds, which causes a difference if a world is located on several maps (such as Urotsuki's Dream Apartments), or if a map hosts several worlds (such as Map 1445).

Q: How can I consult the worlds that I have not yet visited?
A: By having visited 95% of the worlds or more, you should have a ? icon on the Yume 2kki Navigator. By clicking on it, the list of the locations that you have yet to visit should be displayed. Otherwise, you should be able to easily find the worlds that you haven't visited yet just by looking closely at the Navigator's map if you haven't reached that point yet.

Q: How can I check my percentage?
A: In your badge gallery, consult the progression of the Urotsuki Trophy badges present in the Exploration section.

EasyRPG Engine

Q: How can I open the settings menu of the engine?/Can I remap my keys?
A: You can open the settings menu of the engine by pressing F1, pressing the Start button of your controller or selecting Settings on the title screen of Braingirl. In said menu, you should have access to various settings related to the video settings, audio settings (those correspond to the volume settings also present on the site) and input settings, allowing you to remap your keys. Note that it is not possible to adjust the keys displayed on the screen for mobile users, only which press should do what.

Q: Can I play with a controller?
A: Depending on your browser, you should be able to play with a controller at a variable level. If the keys don't correspond to what you want to have, try to adjust them in the settings menu.

Q: Holding key outside window cause issue
A: refocus window and release key

Save Management

We recommend you to backup frequently your savefile, once per week or per huge game session, as well as saving periodically when playing in case an issue occurs; clearing your cookies will wipe your savefiles, be careful!

Q: I'm playing on a private tab, and each time I reopen the site, my save is gone!
A:

Q: Save sync
A:

Q: Does the games on the site have an autosave feature?
A: No, no game on the site has an autosave feature. Before leaving the website, make sure to save in the game, and potentially make a backup if you deem so necessary.

Q: How can I save while playing?
A: To save your progression, depending on the game, you can do the following thing:

  • Use the character's desk in Yume Nikki, Yume 2kki, Uneven Dream, Deep Dreams, Someday, Amillusion, Mikan Muzou, She Awaits or Oversomnia.
  • Use the Protagonist's bed in .flow.
  • Use the Shrine in Answered Prayers.
  • Use the Protagonist's diary in Braingirl or Muma|Rope.
  • Use Sometsuki's desk in Ultra Violet, or use her Dream Diary while in the dream world.
  • Use the monitor in Qiu Qin's Room in Dream Genie, or use the Spear of Fear delusion to save at designated save points.
  • Use Minnatsuki's book in Collective Unconscious.
  • Use a bed outside of the Starting Area in OneShot (2014).

Note that the Plated Snow Country and Wavy Up minigames in Yume 2kki still require you to manually save on Urotsuki's desktop, since this data has to be stored in a save.

Q: Can I use a save file from the offline version of a game?
A: You can import and even export save files from the offline versions of games. To do so, select the save icon on your screen while on the site, select a slot and choose to import or export said the content of said slot. Alternatively, while on the save or load menu while in the game, you can press Shift on a selected slot to either import a save on said slot or export the save from said slot. Note that you may encounter issues if you import a save that was made for another version of the game or made with another translation in mind, and as such no waranty is given on whether those saves will work or not.

Q: I'm trying to use my save from the online version on the offline version of a game, but when putting it in the folder of the game and launching it, no icon is displayed for the save in the save menu, and my game displays an error and closes shortly after loading it.
A: Make sure that the last time you saved with your savefile was done while not using any translation when you plan to use it for an offline use without using the EasyRPG engine. The reason for this crash is that to be able to properly display every language, when using the translation feature, the encoding of the text is set in the savefile, which is not supported by the original engine and as such attempt to load assets with the wrong encoding.

Games

Q: In the games available on the site, what changes were made in them compared to the offline versions?
A: All of the games hosted on the site are mostly identical compared to the offline versions, but some changes may had to be done to ensure a proper experience when playing online, in addition to some changes that could be resulting from the different engine (EasyRPG, while the offline versions use RPG_RT). You can find the list of the changes done here:

  • In Uneven Dream, the loading of content during the loading screen when creating a game, saving or loading a save was removed, with the option to enable the cache in the settings removed, and the RTP check scene when starting the game was removed due to being pointless for an online version.
  • In Amillusion, the issue where the menu couldn't be opened after completing the Pouleine Ride event was fixed.
  • In Muma|Rope, the layout of the R-Maze is predetermined and selected between a determined number of variants and is not completely random unlike in the offline version. This is due to the dungeon generation feature of RPG Maker 2003 used in the map that is not supported yet by the EasyRPG engine, and is not a change directly done for the online version as such.
  • In Dream Genie, the position of the last entry on the title screen was adjusted to be properly aligned with the other entries, to take into consideration the language option that is not present on the offline version.
  • In OneShot, several changes were done to adapt to the change of engine:
    • Due to the differences of engine and the lack of some features in the vanilla RPG Maker 2003 engine, the save system of the game was changed to use the default one of RPG Maker 2003, meaning that several saves can be done; the game allows you to beat it in several times and quit without saving without killing Niko, which cannot happen at all in this version; the shake of the window of the game doesn't occur; Niko doesn't exit of the screen when the alternate ending is beaten. This means that it is not possible to reach the bad ending by playing on the site.
    • The name of the player is defaulted to Player and is not guessed by the game at any point.
    • The message that normally appears outside of the window of the game during the Starting Area appears in the window of the game, and has no code to change depending on the name of the player.
    • The puzzle at the cliffs in the Barrens requires you to check a screenshot in the Community Screenshots of the site rather than creating a text document and asking you to read it, due to having no place to do so. This means that rather than being random, the code will always be the same one between each game.
    • The puzzle in the ruins at Glen changing your wallpaper (or creating a picture to use as a wallpaper depending on your setup) in the original game now changes your system theme, which should also apply to the UI of the site if you let its setting to AUTO, and should be reverted once the puzzle is completed rather than requiring to interact with the computer to do so.
    • Made the side used for George's head be rolled randomly when starting a new game rather than using the method used by the original game.

Yume Nikki

Q: Which version of the game is used for the online version?
A: The version used for the online version is the latest English Steam release of the game without any changes done to it; this version includes some typos, bugs and missing sound effects compared to the Japanese version.

Q: Can I use a save from the Japanese version/English Uboachan translation of the game on the online version?
A:

Q: Bug exploit
A: Yes

Yume 2kki

See also the Troubleshooting Yume 2kki wiki page.

Q: I've seen that there is an option to import a wallpaper in the computer's menu, can it be used in the online version?
A: No, it is not possible to change the picture of the custom wallpaper on the online version. Selecting it will just display a grid as well as a warning message, though it shouldn't do anything outside of that.

Q: When loading my save file, the wallpaper doesn't load!
A: This is a bug related to how the website handles saving, which stripes all of the pictures when doing a save. Nonetheless, this issue is harmless and you should be able to find your wallpaper back by leaving and opening again the computer.

Q: Some players are being displayed as other characters than Urotsuki, how is it possible?
A: Throughout the dream world, it is possible to find some places altering the appearance of the player, for example with masks, which grant the player a different appearance, and is most likely what you may be thinking about.

Q: I'm playing on an Xbox Series/an hardware with a limited amount of RAM allocated for the browser, and when visiting some areas, like Tribulation Complex, Test Facility or Holiday Hell, my game crashes with an error "This page is having a problem" or "WebGL: context lost.". What can I do?
A:

.flow

Q: I've unlocked Rust on my save but I would like to use Sabitsuki and her effects, is that possible?
A: Once you have dropped your effects and become Rust on your save, it is impossible to use Sabitsuki again. Thus, we recommend you to keep a second save done just before dropping your effects to still be able to play as Sabitsuki and use all of your effects.

Someday

Q: I'm trying to load a save file from a version prior to 0.11 and the game puts me on a black screen, what can I do?
A: After loading your save file, press Up, then the interaction key, and finally select Save (you can decide to save or not). After doing this, you should see the Loading... message doing a fade out and you should be able to play again. Note that a fairy in front of the bed will warn you about the potential issues that might happen when using an old save file, though it shouldn't cause you any issues.

Uneven Dream

Q: I have seen that there are two different characters when playing the game, what is the difference?
A: There are two different characters in this game: Kubotsuki, associated with the violet "concave" symbol, tending to have dreams which are darker, more tense, emotionally numb, mellow, or pessimistic, and Totsutsuki, associated with the yellow "convex" symbol, tending to have dreams which are vibrant, peaceful, emotional, active, or optimistic. Both characters live on their own and experience different kinds of dreams, meaning that you will not discover the same worlds depending on the character.

To change which character you are using, you can use the computer in the current protagonist's room and select the Switch option. Note that the progression with both characters is stored on the same save file, so there is no need to create one save file per character.

Q: Does the custom wallpaper of the game can be changed?
A: No, it is not possible to change the picture of the custom wallpaper on the online version. As such, the custom wallpaper was replaced with a picture taken during a tour made for the release of the Ver0.08.

Deep Dreams

Q: I'm encountering connection issues in Alien Ocean/I'm encountering issues to unlock the Otherworldly Subaquatic Creatures badge.
A: Due to how the area was coded, connection issues are frequent in this area, which may prevent you from playing properly with others or collecting the badge. In the case of playing with others, nothing can really be done to prevent that outside of leaving the place, while in the case of the badge, using the reconnect button while being in the right area may help to get it.

Q: What does the festive tree in Mariana's Room does?
A: While the tree in Mariana's Room can be interacted to put festive decorations on it, nothing specific happens when doing so, and it is just a decorative element.

Q: For some reason, I have two (or more) Celestial and Apparition alters, is it normal?
A: Due to a bug, the creature giving the Gelatinous alter in Alien Ocean and waking you up after doesn't remove those two alters from your inventory when doing so, giving you an extra alter of each if you had already collected them. Outside of allowing you to use those alters in Mariana's Room which is not intended, this should not affect your progression on the game.

Braingirl

Q: I don't see any Language option on the title screen unlike the other games, does this game is only available in English?
A: This game doesn't use a title screen allowing you to manually select the language of the game. Despite this, the game has Russian, French and Japanese translations (respectively made by Fonvight, Carbonara and Midomido), accessible by setting the language of the YNOproject to the corresponding one and by reloading the page.

Q: I'm encountering connection issues in the sunset tunnel area of the Museum.
A: Due to how the area was coded, connection issues are frequent in this area, which may prevent you from playing properly with others. Unfortunately, nothing can really be done to prevent that outside of leaving the place.

Ultra Violet

Q: When entering in the Shrine Labyrinth, my screen becomes black and I can't do anything!
A: If this issue occurs to you, try to visit the blonde girl room in Old Storehouse World and see her outside of her curtain, then immediately after return to the Shrine Labyrinth (either by walking directly there, or you can wake up/use the Egg effect before). Doing this should fix said issue.

Q: When entering in the Liminal Building, the Cushion Rave event triggers and prevent me from seeing the screen!/When entering in the room with the face paintings in Banquet Hall, the Guilty Smile event instantly triggers and wakes me up preventing me from doing it!
A: Visiting the Shrine Labyrinth and then returning to said area should fix this issue. If you encounter a black screen when attempting to visit the Shrine Labyrinth, follow the instructions present in the previous question.

Q: When entering in the room with the face paintings in Banquet Hall and triggering the Guilty Smile event, the event ends a bit earlier than intended! What can I do about that?
A: Unfortunately, outside of editing your save file, not much can be done about this event, though it should hopefully not be a big issue.

Yume Tsushin

Q: I'm doing the Flight of Human Fireworks event in Moon Ornament and I cannot move!
A: Due to a bug with EasyRPG, input are incorrectly handled while doing said events, preventing you from moving as it was intended. Nonetheless, by holding the direction in which you want to move or the cancel button to exit the event, and then press enter, said action should be able to be done.

Q: My transitions are displayed too quickly for some reason making the game look weird, what can I do about that?
A: This issue occurs if you leave Artsy Apartments by using the Microwave effect or by waking up, and as such, can be fixed by entering in Artsy Apartments and then leaving it by one of its normal exits.

Collective Unconscious

Q: When loading my save, the book isn't displayed and only stats on a black background are displayed!
A: This is a bug related to how the website handles saving, which stripes all of the pictures when doing a save. Nonetheless, this issue is harmless and you should be able to make the book be displayed properly by turning the page or exiting the book then coming back on the main page.

Q: Where can I find the speed eidolon in this game?
A: There is no speed eidolon in this game. Nonetheless, you can adjust your walk speed by pressing Shift, which will allow you to walk faster than the default speed.

OneShot

Q: What are the differences between the offline version of OneShot and the version hosted on the site?
A: See the first entry in the Games section of the FAQ.

Q: What are the differences between OneShot (2014) and the Steam version of OneShot?
A: The 2014 version of OneShot, the one used on YNOproject, was made in one month on RPG Maker 2003 as part of a contest and is free, while the Steam version was made later with more development time, which as such is more polished, more complete, and goes further than the 2014 version, though it is a commercial product unlike the 2014 version. The World Machine Edition, on the other hand, is a version of the game intended for consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. If you enjoyed playing the version of the game hosted on YNOproject, consider buying the Steam version, the World Machine Edition, or consider supporting the development of games released by Future Cat Games and KOMODO.
