Smiling Trees World is an area accessible from Mixed Beach or a blue bear in Cyber Maze.

Map of Smiling Trees World.

Features

Smiling Trees World, as the name implies, is a large area filled with trees, bushes and flowers that have smiling faces. Interacting with any of them make them say muffled words, almost as if they were alive, and by extension, all of them can be chainsawed. The flowers and other NPCs found within this area will sparkle electricity before dying. A strange formation of blue circles can be seen in the background.

After entering from the Cyber Maze, Urotsuki will be placed next to a tree. From here, going east leads to a large smiling robotic head, interacting with it leads to the Mixed Beach. Continuing south and a bit west one can find three face portraits, one of them with an open mouth, which takes Urotsuki to the Buddha Face Labyrinth in the River Complex.

Heading left from the Buddha Face Labyrinth face portraits is a yellow smiling pansy. Interacting with it will lead to The Pansy Path, unlocking it as a connection.

Heading northwest from the Mixed Beach connection is a large pink door that leads to Sushi Roll Swamp. East and slightly south from this door is the Bear Cyberling that will take you back to the Cyber Maze when interacted with.

By going southeast from the Cyber Maze entrance, or northwest from the Buddha Face Labyrinth face portraits, one can find a smiling house with a nearby smiling flower. Repeatedly interacting with the door of the house will let Urotsuki in. The interior of the house consists of a small bedroom, in which the objects and the room itself have smiling faces and make noises when interacted with.

On the left side of the room is a bed that, when slept in, will transform Urotsuki into a crudely-drawn version of herself with a smiling face matching the objects in the room. On the right side of the room is a closet that, when repeatedly interacted with, will open up and let Urotsuki inside before closing again. Exiting the closet will have Urotsuki emerge as a robot, also resembling the scenery in the world.

Trivia

  • The face portraits that lead to the Buddha Face Labyrinth have a close resemblance to Ness from EarthBound.
    • Additionally, the robot mask obtained after exiting the closet inside the house resembles the robot forms the protagonists take on in the Cave of the Past in the same game.
  • The panorama here is the same one used in Red Lily Lake.
  • In previous versions, there were unused sprites of Urotsuki in this world's art style. These were implemented in version 0.126 upon entering the bed inside the house.
  • Prior to version 0.126, interacting with the Bear Cyberling didn't bring you back to the Cyber Maze.
