Micro World is an area accessible from the White Passage.
Features
Micro World is an area rendered in simplistic, chunky 8-bit graphics, reminiscent of an RPG. It's a largely open grassland, with trees strewn about and rivers running through it. A white bird may be seen flying across the screen occasionally. From the staircase entrance of White Passage, one can find a path leading north, with a fork heading west. Following the path all the way north leads to a small town inhabited by green creatures. The only open building leads to the Swimming Pool.
Following the turn west instead will lead to a forested area, with an open cabin in the middle that goes to Isle of Seasons. Southwest of the White Passage entrance, one can find an area with many cubes strewn about and stacked on top of one another. One stack has a staircase leading to a small room containing the Pixels memory. South of this cube area is another building built from these cubes, and a staircase in the side. This staircase leads to Orange Mausoleum.
Directions
Memory Room → First Steps → Retro Dungeon → Weird Forest → Micro World
Trivia
- The house to the Isle of Seasons used to be a staircase to Unicorn Woods between v9.0 and v18.0. In v19.0 and v20.0 it was a dead end to a Your Turn room, but in v21.0 the house was added to replace the staircase.
- The entrance to Orange Mausoleum was added in v12.0 with the introduction of the world into the game.
- In v12.0 the soundtrack had the same melody but was not composed using an 8-bit soundfont, and it had a grand orchestra feel to it instead. It was replaced in v13.0 with the 8-bit version to better fit the theme of the world most likely. It can be listened to here.
- Despite there being a house in this world with no connection yet and one in Weird Forest, the house in this world was not used to link Weird Forest in v14.0 when that world was introduced. This was only an added connection starting in v15.0.
- There used to be a coin between v9.0 and v11.0, and then this coin became uncollectible (but still present in the world) in v12.0 with the message "Memory needed" appearing when trying to collect it, referring to the fact that the game was unable to store the coin the save file (this is not referring to a memory because this world has had a memory since its release in v9.0). Then in v27.0 it was collectible once again, and finally in v31.1 it was disabled from being seen normally in game and can only be seen now by equipping the item "DONT EXISTS" in the debug menu.
- Before Swimming Pool was added in v29.0, the house to it used to have a door like the rest of the houses.
- The birds were added in v30.1.
