The Monochrome Wastelands is an area accessible from the Escherian Passage in Monochrome Mansion.
Features
Monochrome Wastelands is a vast environment with otherworldly rock formations and odd pieces of architecture all around. Some points of interest here are three-eyed creatures with extremely long legs, multi-floor structures connected by ladders, as well as bizarre buildings with checkered platforms.
Southwest of the entrance of this world, you can find a passage that leads to Rough Ash World, which then unlocks access to this area from the opposite side.
Directions
- Nexus → Marijuana Goddess World → Dark Room → Snowy Pipe Organ → Atlantis → Star Ocean → Rusted City → Strange Plants World → Underground Laboratory → Tesla Garden → Graffiti City → Chalkboard Playground → Ghost Town → Monochrome Mansion → Monochrome Wastelands
After visiting the Industrial Waterfront once:
- Nexus → Cipher Keyboard → Spaceship → Tesla Garden → Graffiti City → Chalkboard Playground → Ghost Town → Monochrome Mansion → Monochrome Wastelands
After unlocking the connection to this area from Rough Ash World:
- Nexus → Marijuana Goddess World → Dark Room → Sewers → Rough Ash World → Monochrome Wastelands
Trivia
- The three-floored buildings are based on M. C. Escher's Belvedere.
