Blue Apartments is an area accessible from Burial Depths and Worksite.

Features

From the door to Worksite, continue up the stairs and use the leftmost door to reach a room with a scribbled calendar next to a door to Motel Breeze at the top.

Arriving from Dice Swamp places you in a room with a moving flower. From there, head down the stairs and use the left door to find the Worksite connection. Also, from the Dice Swamp connection, you can use the door at the top, go up the stairs on the right, and use that door to find a blocked staircase. With a mask or the Glasses effect equipped, the boxes that block it will be gone. This grants access to a room containing a boombox that can be interacted with to play music.

Head south from Motel Breeze to find a room with many doors, shown in the gallery below. The top right door leads back, and the top left door leads to a door to Sands of Self, which will take you to Burial Depths if you use the door in that world and back here if you use it once more. The bottom right door leads to a red door with a lock on it and a shadow figure that grants a Shadow X mask, which is the chaser found outside the apartments. Use the bottom left door instead to reach a "dead end," then turn around to find an Urotsuki clone in a window and the door to the bedroom. If you instead reach the "dead end," turn around, and then go back to it, you will find a long corridor that eventually leads to the bedroom.

The bedroom can also be found by heading east from the door to Somber Establishment. West from the door to Somber Establishment is a shortcut door to the Worksite connection and a door to a room with doors in place of a wall.

Inside the bedroom is the long-haired Purple Girl and an equippable purple hat, which has a special interaction in the Legacy Nexus. Purple Girl may sometimes be wearing the hat or sitting on the cushion. You can sit on the cushion as well, or interact with the drawers, the TV, or the light switch. Turning the lights off deprives the area of color, prevents you from using the bed and the door, advances the clock by one hour, and makes her turn forward and stare with a blank expression.

Sleeping in the bed takes you to the Legacy Nexus. If it's your first time sleeping in the bed, the connection between these areas will be unlocked, and you will wake up in a section of the Realistic Flat, which has three large doors. Continuing down leads to a realistic bus stop, where you may sit or exit to the main area of the Legacy Nexus on the left.

If you arrive here from Pudding World, you will be placed in an isolated room with a large pudding figure on a chair.

In the room with the Worksite connection, there is a tiny hole. It can be entered with the tiny Urotsuki doll mask from the Thrift Shop. It leads to the section with the boombox, and you will be able to enter the miniature house next to it. Inside it are a couple dead ends and a door to a heart-shaped key, which seems to permanently unlock the aforementioned red door. The red door will lead to a blue room, which contains a flashlight illuminating a ticking red clock. There seems to be no way to leave the room without waking up or Eyeball Bombing. If you bring the horse mask to this room, it will darken. The room does not react to the purple hat, clown mask, and jester mask.

There are some masks in this world that cannot be accessed from the main area.

Unlocking the connection to TVLand requires bringing the horse/jester mask to Purple Girl's bedroom.

Spoilers:
[Show/Hide]

If you enter the bedroom with the horse mask equipped, the room will darken, there will be a puddle of blood on the rug, and a jester mask will take the place of the purple hat. The jester mask has special interactions, such as activating certain events and allowing Urotsuki to interact with certain NPCs in Bean's maps to make them disappear after a special animation. Picking up the jester mask will cause the room to be devoid of color, the exits to be blocked, and static noise to play. In this state, the TV also glows red. Interacting with the red TV will cause an apparition of Purple Girl to appear, and then you will be taken to a coned section of TVLand, where you can interact with the inactive TV NPC below to make it disappear. This grants access to the main area, causes snow to fall, the area to be devoid of color, and all the TVs to turn red, except the one with Urotsuki on it.

You can return to Blue Apartments by interacting with the tall TV structure that you arrived at. If you wake up and return to the bedroom in Blue Apartments, you will find it is now normal. If you go to TVLand, you will find it still in its red state with the connection back to the Blue Apartments bedroom, which will have the jester mask in it. At this point, you can turn on the lights to use the other connections if you do not have the jester mask equipped, or obtain the jester mask and return to TVLand.

Attempting to chainsaw the inactive TV NPC blocking the cone area will send you to an isolated section of Nefarious Chessboard. If you first activate the TV NPC and then equip the Chainsaw effect, it will bare its teeth like a creature seen in Dice Swamp, and touching it will transform it into something and send you to the same isolated section.

Trivia

  • The unlockable red door looks like the door to Blood Red Beach in the Legacy Nexus. The red clock also resembles the alarm clock that connects to the Realistic Flat, but without the alarm bells on top.
