Empty Museum. Created 9/16/24. this one was interesting. the rooms aren't arranged so neatly in rpgmaker, and i had to check which paintings correlated to which coins. not a clue why two link to #18. i think it's a bug.
Owl Swamp. Created 9/16/24.
Undersea Expanse. Created 9/17/24. the beginning of my long and heated relationship with "Geosmin" who apparently thinks it's okay to just take a screenshot in the raw editor and use that as a map. I know you're reading this. Get off my talk page. Leave me alone.

Mushroom Cathedral. Created 9/17/24. see, a lot of Muma Rope maps are very complicated and use a lot of advanced techniques. in-editor, the background is gray and the floor is black, but that has to be manually adjusted for readability.
Pink Block Sea. Created 9/17/24. like this one. there's a bunch of placeholder tiles, the water background isn't there, and neither are the reflections. i couldn't even match up the water exactly - not that you'd notice.
Cave Game. Created 9/17/24. i don't remember why i redid this one - the old map was perfectly serviceable for the "Updated Maps" catergory.
Totem Hill. Created 9/17/24. forgot a few annotations on this one and had to fix it.
Thorny Vine World. Created 9/17/24. i "left the placeholder text in" because i had manually reconstructed a frankenstein RPGMaker font instead of just using Show Text/Show Sting Picture.
Micro World. Created 9/17/24. this one has nothing to do with my old rival. i just made it because it needed one.
Unicorn Woods. Created 9/18/24. the pink forest swaps out the whole tileset, so again that has to be manually adjusted in LMU2PNG.
Blood n' Blood. Created 9/18/24. i don't think this area needs a map really, but
Realm of the Orb. Created 9/18/24. this one was a lot of work to get looking good. different backgrounds to different areas, laying them out properly, etc
Orange Mausoleum. Created 9/21/24. again, a very technically complicated piece. having a half-transparent layer overtop, and a convoluted in-editor layout makes it a real hassle to arrange neatly
Monochrome Building. Created 9/22/24. fun fact: pretty much this entire map is stored as a Panorama. hardly any ChipSet/CharSet graphics.
Monochrome Building. Created 9/27/24. Originally mapped by TreemanQwQ, who's a Muma Rope editor who (very much) actually knows what they're doing (and also saw my youtube video 😳)
Paint World. Created 2/6/25. woahhhh, another game?! this one was fun because i started making EXFONT glyphs for the little emoji symbols the wiki uses to designate stuff.
Paint World: Toybox. Created 2/6/25. i believe i made these because there was an expedition for an ACT2 world and i hadn't done that yet.
Psychedelic Glyph World. Created 2/6/25. "Crayon Drawing Passage" was that expedition.
Japanese Castle. Created 2/7/25. this one was another pain to make, for much the same reason as a few of the muma ones. labyrinthian design.
Flesh Pit. Created 2/24/25. made with the "pirated copy" of 0.1.0. this is where i started using the "Show String Picture" command from Maniacs to make annotations.
Corvid Metropolis. Created 2/24/25. i go to the luigi bird world mods tell me to fuck off
Lycoris World. Created 3/12/25. you'll probably see me refer to lycoris flowers again i mean what
Maze of Fear. Created 3/12/25. see caption: "this one was a pain in the ass to navigate, but for some reason no map yet". none of the wall guides were in game, just Figure It Out
Hologram Space. Created 3/12/25. rakugaki was interesting. getting away with the little sonic heghog joke was also interesting.
Monster Manuscripts: Forest. Created 4/10/25. raw map ripped by Volvulus. this area IS actually laid out sort of contiguously internally, but i rearranged it anyway. different annotation style than usual because it would be entirely unreadable on such a large map.

Mini Golf Maze. Created 6/8/24 (launch day!) i had to make sure nobody else suffered the pain of this area.
Sweet Tooth Lake. Created 6/11/24. "map like it's 1986" was, like, you're playing The Legend of Zelda (1986) and mapping it out on graph paper or whatever
Card Carving Cavern. Created 6/12/24. thankfully grew out of this annotation style.
Blood Drive. Created 6/13/24.
Sidescrolling World. Created 6/20/24. extremely simple to make, it's a small area and has flip-screen scrolling
Alphabet City. Created 3/30/25. part of my long attempts to find the "M" visage. i had actually found the sewer when first visiting this area, but completely forgot about it while cartographing.
Alphabet City: Sewers. Created 3/31/25. so i returned and figured it all out.
Optical Offices: Chess Puzzles. Created 4/2/25. this one was VERY interesting - it's basically Mini Golf Maze 2. i had to manually reconstruct the menu theme for the annotations because the development build with the raw System file isn't available yet.
Coffee Maze. Created 4/3/25. this one was just for fun mostly. i really like the music in this area. been listening to it while writing up this page
Sylvan Trails: Spring. Created 4/4/25. a lot of people were having trouble finding Amanita. turns out - all of the sidepaths through the trees are bullshit and only there to waste your time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sylvan Trails: Autumn. Created 4/4/25.
Moth Garden. Created 4/5/25. bit off wayyyy more than i could chew with this one. took like 4 hours straight. but i discovered a yet-undocumented hidden room in the process.
Gradient City. Created 4/7/25. done at the request of pearlover3
The Burning Minnatsuki. Created 4/7/25. done at the request of minichibis. extremely tedious to color-correct the darkness vignette out. the group that was exploring the map at the time found the event right in front of me, so i was able to mark it.
Stellar Basin. Created 4/8/25. done at the request of LilyFlowered (sort of). has another, slightly less tedious darkness effect to color-correct.
Updated Maps
generally i try my best to keep the previous annotation style intact.
White Shores. Updated 9/16/24. it's always interesting to try and mimic half-transparent annotations.
Lamp World. Updated 9/16/24. all i did was mark the out-of-bounds event.
Tree Trunk Complex. Updated 9/16/24. v33.3 introduced a new background for this world, but didn't change the layout. maybe just a nitpicky thing to update it really
Dark Archives. Updated 2/6/25. added an annotation for Weird Girl after a badge was added for seeing her.
Mural Passage. Updated 2/24/25. this one has a completely different, and hopefully more readable layout.
Ornament World. Updated 3/31/25. added annotation for Picturesque House. not much else
Golden Shore. Updated 4/3/25. this area tints the screen, so color-correcting the new warp was a pain. perhaps even unnecessary.
Cave. Updated 4/6/25. had to completely redo this one - for some reason the underlying background had some strange artifacting.
April. Updated 4/9/25. new rip by Volvulus. updated with new menu theme location
