Marble Ruins is an area connected to the backstage in Snowy Village.

Map of Marble Ruins.

Features

Marble Ruins is a large area consisting of dilapidated, grayscale marble structures, such as buildings supported by columns and fitted with gray stained glass windows. Muted green plants are rooted between the dark pools of water and checkered tile paths, which lead past wrought iron benches and glowing blue lampposts. A faint haze permeates the air.

From the doorway that leads to the theater of Snowy Village, heading west will lead to a group of grandfather clocks with rectangular or convex towers and respective adornments. Continuing up the stairs, one can find a barren, black, birch-like tree by a bench. The wall to the west displays a sun and moon clock with Roman numerals, and interacting with it will pan the camera upward. The hands of each clock are similarly positioned.

Northeast of the clocks, one can find a seating area around a pool of water and an abstract, earth-toned mural. West of the mural, a set of bones is displayed against a wall, and colorful striped shells are placed on the checkered tiles.

All the way southwest of the shells, there is a doorway leading to a courtyard and a pool of water containing an immense hooded statue with four arms and hands, two of them clasped at their chest. Interacting with the pool's south side will pan the camera upward.

In the northeastern corner of the statue room, there is an opening to a section with numerous trees. Northeast of the statue room's exit, there is a doorway that leads to The Garden. Following the northern path instead will bring Urotsuki to a narrow walkway bordered by lampposts and water, where shadows of fish float overhead.

Continuing north on this path leads to a straightforward passage, where water cascades from doorways and pools atop the roofs. Continuing along, one can see a strange object peeking out of the water. Above it, there is a bench by a doorway to the Small Pond. Further west, a doorway atop a staircase will lead to more stairs. Ascending and entering the doorway at the top will bring Urotsuki to the Marble Tower.

The Garden

The Garden is a small side room with a bench and several types of unusual plants. There is a 1/26 chance upon entering the room that the Unicorn Girl will appear near the bench. She will be visible from the doorway, so the player can repeatedly exit and enter the room until she appears at the bottom left of the screen. Interacting with her shows a close-up of her face, followed by her disappearing afterwards. Doing this for the first time will unlock a shortcut to this world from the Library.

Small Pond

The Small Pond features a large chandelier of luminous cyan lanterns and stained glass windows in shades of blue, green, and yellow. The windows resemble the entrance from Snowy Village, which also seems to be located on the second level, from which water flows into the pond. Urotsuki can only knock on the door. Beyond it, there is a clock-like frame extending from the crumbled architecture, which reveals a radiant moon-like object in the distance. On the pond's sole island, there seems to be a lantern in the colors of the windows, growing from a tree.

Each time the room is entered, there is a chance to find the Unicorn Girl on the island, kneeling beside a boat with her paddle. Only in this section, she has reactions to certain effects. If the Glasses effect is equipped, the Unicorn Girl will transform into a unicorn laying on the grass. If the Grave effect is equipped, she will become a translucent version of her human form.

Marble Tower

Vibrant stained glass windows line the tower's tall staircase. The music is reminiscent of Yu Yu Hakusho's romantic theme. The glass appears increasingly damaged as Urotsuki ascends. Each time the tower is entered, the translucent Unicorn Girl has a chance to appear on the second-to-last window's ledge, looking outside.

The doorway at the top opens onto a rooftop balcony with sped-up music, overlooking a starry sky. The construction cones hint at future content.
