Static World is a pair of the dream world's deeper locations, acting as transitions to the FC Worlds. The Static World can be seen as a transition point from the game’s regular art style to the Famicom/NES-styled graphics.

Features

The Static World is fairly minimalistic. The only features are the entrance or exit: there are no visible ground tiles or walls, and the background is empty except during brief flashes of loud static.

Worlds

Static Maze

Map of the Static Maze.

Static Maze is accessed from Shield-Folk World. It is an invisible, single screen maze with a flashing static background. At the end of it as a long white ladder leading to the FC House.

Static Tunnel

The Static Tunnel is accessed by reaching the end of the Teleport Maze and entering the box in the isolated section of the Wilderness. It is visually similar to the Static Maze, but its structure is a linear, single vertical path to a staircase exiting to the FC World A.

Trivia

  • Although the Static World can be accessed and traversed while on the desk chair, the player is prevented from exiting to FC World. This is consistent with both the inability to climb stairs in other worlds (although Static Maze uses a ladder) and the inability to teleport to FC World using the Pirori in the Barracks Settlement.
