Visine World is an area accessible from the Art Gallery.

Map of Visine World

Features

Map of the Maze

This world is populated by corneas, clusters of eyeballs, and various disfigured creatures. Some of the first two appear bloodshot, and some have liquid dripping onto them. The world also bears a slight resemblance to the Broken Faces Area.

Chainsawing any of the creatures and eyeballs in this area at least 44 times will send you to the room with a face and a rapidly twitching eye, similar to the clown in Guts World. (Proof of concept). After a whole minute of unstoppable laughter Urotsuki will wake up in her room, quickly getting out of bed.

If you step on the two floating eye monsters' shadows that are surrounded by four large eyeballs, you will be sent to a maze-like area with pulsating walls, where two more floating monster sewn together can be found in this maze, which leads to Guts World when stepping on their shadows. Additionally, a building can be found somewhere in the maze, called the Eye Shop.

Eye Shop

The Eye Shop is a small concrete building with eyes painted on it and also a signboard, which also features an eye. The interior of the building consist of a waiting area with stools, a laboratory with distilling equipment, and an office.

Along the wall in the office, there is a box with what appears to be hair or veil flowing out of it. Interacting with it will cause its owner, Hakoko, to peek out.

Megusuri Uri can be found in one of three different areas, depending on the remainder of Variable 44 when divided by 3. This operation is performed upon entering the main area of Visine World. If Variable 44 is perfectly divisible by 3, he will be in the main area of Visine World, where interacting with him will unlock Kura Puzzle #26. If there is a remainder of 1, he will be in the main room of the Eye Shop. Finally, if there is a remainder of 2, he will be in the same room as Hakoko, unlocking Wallpaper #217.

If you chainsaw Hakoko, only her box will remain and she will not come back. If you chainsaw Megusuri Uri and enter Hakoko's room, the area will turn twisted, and some kind of monster will occupy the box Hakoko used to hide in. Fortunately, both residents can be brought back by interacting with the boy NPC in the Bleak Future event. Entering Visine World from the Art Gallery also has a 1/10 chance to revive either of them.

Trivia

  • In older versions of the game, managing to escape the Dressing Room while wearing a costume would trigger the same event that happens when either Megusuri Uri or Hakoko are killed.
  • In older versions of the game, it was possible to wake up from the eye-twitching creature area with an effect equipped by using the Shift Menu. This would cause the game to trigger an exception event, which forcefully wakes Urotsuki up while being awake. A video of this can be checked here.
