Sugar Road is a colorful area accessible from a portal in the Overgrown Condominium.

Map of Sugar Road

Features

Upon entering the area via an odd obelisk-shaped object, the player finds themselves in the center of an island made up of vibrantly colored tiles. These tiles represent the walkable space in the area, and the space outside of these tiles is dotted with abnormally colored trees, almost seeming to be inverted in color. A few NPCs shaped like polygons can be found throughout the area, who make an small static sound when interacted with.

The area as a whole is somewhat maze-like, and can occasionally be hard to navigate due to the odd coloring of the floor tiles. Heading east from the only available path from the start leads the player to a small open area, with three branching paths. The northwestern path leads to a flag and a sign bearing the Yukata mask that only appears if you have visited the Mask Shop at least once. Heading to the blue tree and following a short concealed path there ends in a hidden portal to the Deluxe Mask Shop. If you instead keep east and take the next available path north, Urotsuki will arrive at a path that leads to a portal to the Stony Buildings, from which going west leads to a portal to Color Blocks Void. The path heading southwest is a straightforward road which terminates at a portal to an underground sub-section of the Blob Desert, while going to the narrow path east of the open area, then north, leads to a branching path concealed by a blue tree, where the right-hand branch leads to a portal to Graffiti City. The two paths to the east both meet up at the left and right paths of a T junction. Taking the southern route from there through the door-shaped hole will again lead the player to a small circular area. In this area, there is a hidden path to the north behind the first of the two green trees. Through the passage lies a small fork in the road; one of the paths ending in a dead end, and the other housing a portal to the Chaos Exhibition. At the southern section of this world, you can find a pink portal which leads to the Sculpture Park, and by going north past the Graffiti City portal, you can find a dark-green portal that leads to the Statue Forest, a small area which has a green portal that leads to Sea of Trees, and an RGB-colored portal that leads to the Mountaintop Ruins.

In the south by Chaos Exhibition and Sculpture Park is a telephone that activates a phone shortcut in Urotsuki's Dream Apartments when interacted with. Note that this will overwrite any other shortcut currently on the phone. While this shortcut is active, a doorway will open up on the wall above the phone and a blue bathroom will appear to the immediately northwest. Entering the bathroom will warp the player to the northern section of the map where a green bathroom can be found. This bathroom cannot be entered but will bark upon interaction and drop money when chainsawed.

After visiting the Industrial Waterfront once:

If the connection from Urotsuki's Dream Apartments to Sugar Road is active:

Trivia

  • If the telephone shortcut to Urotsuki's Dream Apartments is active, entering from Color Blocks Void will block the wall to the telephone and remove the bathrooms. Entering and exiting a different world will fix this.
  • Prior to version 0.115 Patch 4, this area featured a portal to Opal Ruins A and another to Fluorescent Halls.
  • Prior to version 0.119g Patch 5, the green portal lead Urotsuki to the Lonely Home.
