Underground Passage is an area accessible from a building at the east of Strange Plants World.

Map of the Underground Passage

Features

The Underground Passage is a large maze-like area. Navigation through this map is very difficult, and often requires use of the Fairy effect or Spacesuit effect to fly over bodies of water or gaps.

If you use the Spacesuit effect to float over the first waterway, a large green orb will be present above the water. Further east is a section that looks like a dead end, which hides a secret path to a wall with a monstrous face, where heading forward from there will lead to Icy Plateau. Going to the north will lead you to a series of ladders. Stepping repeatedly over a crack on the floor that can be found to the right of the fourth ladder can cause the floor to collapse, leading you to a small, grassy area containing odd plants and a large red flower with a bright green, oblong shape at its stem. If the Stretch effect is equipped, something will appear near the center of it. The other plants in the room will stop in response to the Crossing effect. Going south from here leads to a monochrome room that serves as a passage to the Extraterrestrial Cliffside. The moving object in this room will also stop if the Crossing effect is used.

Walking to the right of this crack will lead to another section, where the entrance from the Dream Park can be found at the left, at the other side of a glass bridge. Trying to approach this bridge from this side or after going through it from Dream Park's side will make the bridge disappear until the map is entered again. There's also a small room at the top-right of this section, where a NPC has a 1/64 chance of appearing every time you enter the room. South from previous room there is a large corridor with cracks on the floor. Going through this corridor can change the layout of the map between three different options while going up or other three options while going down.

By going up:

  • A large, grey concrete wall that leads to an isolated section of the Icy Plateau. The wall will only open if a switch in another section of the world has been activated.
  • An area with a large body of water and a small isle at the center. This isle contains a NPC which moves to the sides. Chainsawing it will show a hint about one of the entrances to the Icy Plateau before teleporting Urotsuki to an apparently inescapable area, which can actually be escaped by going through a fake wall at the top right. A set of ladders can also be found at the left of this section, which leads to a door blocked by a blue cone.
  • The entrance area.

By going down:

  • An area with a hole surrounded by walls at the left, which shows some NPCs from Riverside Waste Facility. Going to the right leads to a set of ladders, which leads to a small section with a wall at the top. An almost invisible stain can be found in this wall, which opens a concrete wall in another section of the map. Interacting with this stain also causes shigurin to start moving erratically in the Developer Room.
  • A path that goes to the right and leads to a section with a red carpet on the floor and a door that connects with Stone Towers.
  • A small section with a path blocked by cones and a barrier.
