Underground Laboratory is an area accessible from the rusted building in Strange Plants World.

Features

The Underground Laboratory is an area containing laboratory equipment, tires, objects that resemble computers, strange vats, and green vine-like creatures that wander around. Urotsuki will be blocked from exploring the area by some purple construction cones immediately upon entrance, in front of some large holes in the floor.

Next to the doorway to Strange Plants World, There are the numerals 1, 2, and 3 inscribed on the wall, which lead to the unlockable connection to the Chaos Exhibition (requires Chainsaw), the Polluted Swamp, and Tesla Garden, respectively. Interacting with these numbers will take Urotsuki to the respective area.

The area used to be a vast, looping maze with maps throughout the maze to assist with navigation. Within the maze lied a barricaded path that led to a portal to the Chaos Exhibition (you still have to open a barricade to take the teleport there), a gateway that led to a small pathway to the Polluted Swamp, as well as a small metal door that led to the Tesla Garden. The map below shows the original layout of the huge maze.

Directions

With the Boy, Wolf, Gakuran, or Chainsaw effect and the Penguin effect:

After entering the Chaos Exhibition from this area once:

After visiting the Industrial Waterfront once:

If the connection from Urotsuki's Dream Apartments to Sugar Road is active and you visited Chaos Exhibition from this area:

Trivia

  • If you open this map in RPG Maker, the large empty space in the corner of the map has a spot where the tiles resemble a thinking emoji. Using Noclip mode to access the area in-game, you can find a non-interactable blob and three NPCs. Two open debug text boxes with an image of Megusuri Uri at the bottom right, and one says "What are you looking at!!!! It's off!!!!!!!!!" and sends you to an isolated section of The Rooftops with a bright red tint on the screen.
