Glacier Maze is an area accessible from behind a block in Rough Ash World.

Map of Glacier Maze.

Features

Glacier Maze is a non-looping, dimly-lit, bluish area with walkways filled with icy stalagmites and surrounded by black walls.

Heading through the stalagmites northeast of the entrance from Rough Ash World, then curving south and a bit east, using the dark blue coloration of the ground as a guide, you will find the doorway to Violet's Room.

Slightly northeast of the Frigid Meadow entrance is a vending machine. Navigating through the stalagmites north toward the Rough Ash World entrance and then southeast will also lead you to Violet's Room.

Violet's Room

WARNING: This area contains bright, rapidly flashing images that may not be suitable for people with photosensitive conditions, like epilepsy.

Violet's Room is a small, pastel purple bedroom, with plants, a bed, dresser, window, and a girl dressed in violet wandering the room. The girl (nicknamed Violet) does not seem to react to any effects, and there are no connections or collectables in this room.

Violet's light switch on the right of her room can be shut off, resulting in the room getting dark, shadows appearing by the furniture items, and a moon with black tree branches appearing in the window.

If you repeatedly turn the lights on and off, there is a 1 in 64 chance that the light switch will stop working and an event will trigger. The room will become psychedelic, with rapidly changing colours replacing the normal colours of the walls and furniture. Leaving the room and re-entering will restore its previous state.

Trivia

  • The method of activating the event in Violet's Room seems to be a light-hearted reference to the infamous Uboa event in Yume Nikki. Unlike Uboa, the event in Violet's Room can be triggered without repeatedly entering and exiting.
  • Sometimes, the flashing background will already be present when the player enters Violet's Room. The light switch can be used to dim it or restart the event with the usual BGM.
