Y2 Red Sewers VM.png Normal

Red Sewers is an area accessible through a manhole in Bubble World.

Features

The Red Sewers is a long tunnel largely resembling an underground sewer system. Pipes, lights, and fences are scattered throughout the area and a long moat filled with red liquid takes up the southernmost part of the area. It highly resembles a mix of the original Yume Nikki's Sewers and Underground World areas.

From Bubble World's entrance, Urotsuki will climb down a ladder, leading to a short transitional area with a river filled with fluorescent red liquid. A hollowed blob resembling KyuuKyuu-kun in color blocks one of the paths, but will disappear and reform on the opposite pathway if approached.

The left pathway contains several large pipes and vents with a swimming creature, eventually leading to Wooded Lakeside. The right pathway contains some graffiti and a vending machine, ending in a dark path with a faucet. Turning the faucet on and then traveling back will reveal a doorway to Marshmallow Shallows.

It is also possible to enter this area through Guts World instead; however, some content and NPCs will be absent from the subsequent route. For example, not entering via the Home Within Nowhere route will cause Shimako to not be present in any subsequent worlds, and the "Shimako's Deluge" event will instead wake you up. You will also be unable to access Bubble World and its connections, as well as Sierpinski Maze and its connections.

Directions

If you have visited this area at least once and have the Cake effect:

With the Marginal and Cake effect, after visiting this area and the balcony in Guts World at least once and unlocking the connection from Broken Faces Area to Dream Park:

Trivia

  • The swimming creature is a monochrome version of an NPC in Kaleidoscope World.
  • One of the graffiti pieces on the right pathway resembles Hebiko in color.
  • Prior to 0.120d patch 10, this map was originally dubbed the "Blood Factory". It was considered a sub-area of Bubble World, when it was initially a very short transitional area leading to Glitched Butterfly Sector.
