Underground World (internally named Warehouse) is a small deeper location accessed by sleeping in one out of the five randomly chosen beds spread across the dream worlds.
Features
Underground World is only accessible by first going down the Staircase of Hands, which requires sleeping in one of five randomly selected beds in the dream world. The area is a dark corridor, resembling an underground storage unit.
The first hallway of Underground World contains an elevator, which will give Madotsuki a one-way trip to the elevator located within the Mall. If the player travels to the Mall using the Underground World elevator, the traffic cone usually blocking the escalator to the Mall's rooftop will not be present. Continuing left beyond the elevator is the Blazing Corridor, which is a small doorway with large roaring flames. To extinguish the flames, Madotsuki must equip either the Yuki-onna or Umbrella effects.
If the player uses the Hat and Scarf effect to transform into a snowman in Snow World and then gets to Underground World through one of the beds while as a snowman, they can sit by the Blazing Corridor to slowly melt away. This event is known as the Melting Madotsuki event, in which Madotsuki will eventually melt into a puddle of water with the hat and scarf on top. This event can not be experienced by using the Yuki-onna effect to transform into a snowman, as the snow will persist after transforming into a snowman in Underground World, extinguishing the corridor's flames and thus not letting Madotsuki melt.
Once the flames are extinguished, Madotsuki can pass through into a storage room containing shelves, pipes, and what appears to be a heater or air conditioning unit. A single Mouth Monster can be found near a pool of blood, which will pursue Madotsuki. Interacting with the Mouth Monster will give the Poop Hair effect. There is also a doorway in the upper portion of the room which will lead to the Spaceship.
Directions
Although there are five normal beds found throughout the dream world, which all lead to the Staircase of Hands and eventually Underground World, the shortest route starts by using the bed in Madotsuki's Dream Room.
