Masks can be obtained and worn by Urotsuki in the dream world. They change Urotsuki's appearance, but they are not stored in the menu like the Effects, and they will be lost if you change Effects or masks. Usually masks are purely cosmetic with rare exceptions.
Masks bought from the Mask Shop or the Deluxe Mask Shop will need to be repurchased every time they are lost. However, some of Bean's worlds (like Pillar Ark) contain mask storage boxes, allowing you to store up to four masks at a time between dream sessions. The contents of the storage boxes are shared, and a mask will be removed from storage once re-equipped.
There are also some masks that are unlockable in the Dream Wardrobe (accessible from Urotsuki's Dream Apartments), allowing you to equip them from there whenever you want.
Below is a list that catalogs the masks that can be worn in the game.
