This page is missing information. You can help YumeWiki by expanding it. Details: Some tracks are missing Japanese names. Some tracks have alternate names or, more likely, separate spots in the soundtrack releases despite being pitched down versions of other tracks (Dense Woods A and Sewers, for example), but are not listed as separate. |
The Soundtrack of Yume Nikki has garnered high praise and attention. The unconventional, often atonal rhythms of the background music are a major part of the game's atmosphere, and work psychologically with the game's visuals to create a deeply entrancing experience. They consist of short loops, most lasting around only a few seconds, with the exception of【FC】BGM_001 (FC Field BGM).
Some of the names are unofficial fan names. The names in bold text are from the album of Yume Nikki Soundtracks - Yume no Oto (Full List), and the names in italic and bold text are from the official English translation of this album.
In the Steam version, all of the soundtrack begins at "0000049.wav".
