Yume 2kki:Masks

Masks can be obtained and worn by Urotsuki in the dream world. They change Urotsuki's appearance, but they are not stored in the menu like the effects, and they will go away if you change effects or masks. Usually masks are purely cosmetic with rare exceptions. Some masks grant access to specific areas, sometimes functioning as effects.

There are three categories of masks, based on how they are obtained:

1. Masks that can be bought from the Mask Shop or the Deluxe Mask Shop. These must be repurchased every time they are lost (though the Deluxe Mask Shop has spots that will reimburse you after buying a mask).
2. Masks that are unlockable in the Dream Wardrobe (accessible from Urotsuki's Dream Apartments), allowing you to equip them from there.
3. Masks that can be found in other locations.

There are also mask storage boxes, found in some of Bean's worlds (like Pillar Ark). These allow you to store up to four masks at a time between dream sessions. The contents of the storage boxes are shared, and a mask will be removed from storage once re-equipped. If a mask is currently equipped, the boxes cannot be interacted with while they are full. The Dice effect can be used to cycle through the masks in the order they were placed.

Effect Masks

These are masks that Urotsuki can change into with certain effects equipped.

Non-Effect Masks

These are masks that Urotsuki can buy from the mask shops via a menu, by interacting with the shop owner without any effects equipped. Some of these can only be bought after interacting with certain NPCs.

	Halloween Dress	Interact with the shining pumpkin in Halloween Forest.

	Eyeball Man	Visit Eyeball Archives.
	Chainsaw Murderer	Visit GALAXY Town.
	Ninetails	Interact with Ninetails in Red Lily Lake, but only if they were not damaged by the Chainsaw effect.
	Seal	Visit the main part of Paradise.

	Candle Girl	Interact with Candle Girl with the Red Riding Hood effect in Snowy Village.
	White Mouse	Visit the Cheese House in Toy World. Can go through certain small spaces while equipped, like Moai Bro's prison. This is one of two masks that can enter the Cheese House from the Toy World side.
	Black Mouse	Visit the Cheese House in Toy World. Can go through certain small spaces while equipped, like Moai Bro's prison. This is one of two masks that can enter the Cheese House from the Toy World side.
	Takoyaki Creature	Purchase a Takoyaki from the vending machine in the Stove. Can go through certain small spaces while equipped, like Moai Bro's prison.

	Noraneko-kun/Noranyan	Interact with the black cat and Noranyan in Sofa Room. This mask may transform Urotsuki into the regular cat or the catboy depending on which form of the character was last seen in Sofa Room. Only Noraneko-kun can be used go through certain small spaces while equipped, like Moai Bro's prison.
	Shadow Lady Urotsuki	Interact with the closet in the bedroom where Tiger and Gami can be found in Shadow Lady Estate.
	Head Scientist	Interact with the Head Scientist in the Laboratory.
	Bartender	Visit Aquamarine Cave.
	Walking Madrake	Visit the main area of the Florist.
	Walking Trash Bag	Visit the Shop Ruins. Can go through certain small spaces while equipped, like Moai Bro's prison.
	Mummy	Visit the Hamster Wheel House in Handheld Game Pond.
	Lamplighter	Visit Rainy Town.
	Pill	Visit the Surgical Ward in Shop Ruins. Can go through certain small spaces while equipped, like Moai Bro's prison.
	Capsule	Visit the Surgical Ward in Shop Ruins.
	Aojiru	Interact with Aojiru in Hospital.
	Hagure-Uzasu	Visit Graveyard World.
	Anastasia	Interact with the accordion-playing clown at the Underwater Amusement Park.
