• Version 0.036 is the first release to feature Urotsuki herself, and marks a design shift towards the game we know today. The only dream world in this version was an early version of the Library, which contained a few texts.
  • A ghost from a previous version was removed from this area.
• Added the Telephone effect, which was previously located in the Library.
• Added the first version of the game instructions.
• Added the Debug Room, connected from Urotsuki's Room.
• Added an earlier version of Menu Theme 1 as the default interface.
• Added variables V[0043] and V[0044] for the purposes of counting dream sessions and being a random value from 0-255 each dream session, respectively.
• Implemented a graphic of a game cassette/cartridge that appears when selecting a minigame from the Console in Urotsuki's Room.
• Combined the processes of equipping and using effects into their own common events.
• Assigned the music created by 90 and 152 to the MAP.
• Added "copyright.txt" to the directory, which states the copyrights for all materials within the game.

• Version 0.035b marks the end of the era of production where the boy in the grey hoodie was the protagonist, and features the first version of Urotsuki's Room.
• The very rough dream worlds from previous versions were removed in 0.035b, with the first incarnation of the Library taking their place.
• The map tree was entirely reorganized for purposes such as adduing new connections, better readability, debugging, event storage, and the addition of the Library.
• The locations of switches/variables in the game were reassigned, and various common events were set up for the effect transformation process and footstep sounds.
  • S[0025], which determines if an effect is being equipped, was implemented as well.

Version 0.035 was the last version to feature the first set of dream worlds. At the end of this era of the game's development history, the available dream worlds were:

• A world accessible through a bright pink door with "Love" written across it.
  • This world had a white textured floor and pink square walls, and featured a humanoid creature with a telephone for a head, men with hearts for bodies, and a pink tribal mask (which appears in the cafe in the Highway)
• A world accessible through a dark purple door adorned with eyes.
  • This world was made of grey and beige tiles, and featured floating eyeballs, some of which were star-shaped, and a creature with the body of an old-timey phone (who also appears in the cafe in the Highway)
  • The level geometry of this area was shaped like various monstrous creatures heads, featuring a skeleton and something resembling a werewolf.
• A world accessible through a door wrapped in tentacles, that lead to an empty area that would kick you out after a few seconds.
• A desaturated red & black area with an eye motif on the ground and many staircases that go up and down between different levels of the area. If you step on a firey space on the second floor, the background would start spinning, accompanied by the sound of a roaring fire.
• An area with a slippery glass floor, and 3 possible paths to choose.
  • The blue path lead to a small graveyard, with a single grave that would startle the protagonist when interacted with.
  • The green path lead to a molten area filled with bones, where you could find a cat that would meow at you.
  • And finally, the red path lead to a rocky area filled with many small metal squares, one of which was alive and would run away from you if you noticed it.

In addition, some changes were performed to improve the overall quality of the game and production:

• The ability to hold down the decision key to use effects was added, with its own common event being created.
  • Improved the reliability of this funtion when using an effect with a specific key pressed down.
• Changed the name of the >>30 effect to the Winter Jacket effect, and gave it its own effect action as a demonstration of a long press.
• Added "common_events_help.txt" to the directory, which explains common events present within the game.

  • The first prototype of Time Trial Mode was applied to this effect.
• Changed the weather mechanism to be determined by a variable.
