Vending Machines	Snacks	Unique Vending Machines

Vending Machines are usable objects scattered around many areas, giving out various snacks and beverages in return for money.

They are currently one of the only uses for money in the game, most of which provide no real benefit to the user.

Machines

There are various types and designs of vending machine to be found throughout Yume 2kki. The most common is the standard red vending machine, found throughout most worlds and areas. All vending machines across all worlds are listed below.

Drinks

Drinks from vending machines come in many colors and shapes, each costing 100夢 in most cases. From 0.114g patch 3, any drink (or food) you've had will be displayed in the Snack Gallery. For a detailed about the snacks you can get from vending machines, check the Snacks section.

Soda

Sodas come in three varieties: lime, cherry and blue. They add 1 heart to Urotsuki's total.

Bottled Milk

There are 3 types of bottled milk; chocolate, plain and full cream (whole). They are only available in the Bathhouse.

Expired Soda

Expired Sodas are found exclusively in Stone World. They look like normal sodas, but after drinking one, the screen will flash green and Urotsuki will pass out.

Others

There are many other kinds of things found in vending machines, such as green tea, potions, ice creams, or even a bowl of ramen.

|- | |class="center-text"|Bathhouse |This is an unique white vending machine that sells milk. This is the only one of its kind in the game, and is initially empty. Upon entering and coming back out of the baths, the machine will be restocked.

|- | |class="center-text"|Cosmic World |This is an unique vending machine that matches the style of the Cosmic World. Like its surroundings, it flashes between red and blue to the rhythm of the background music.

|- | |class="center-text"|Cotton Candy Haven |This is an unique vending machine which matches the colors of the area where it belongs to. It is also notable for being suspended in midair by a set of balloons and selling only macarons and cupcakes.

|- | |class="center-text"|Dream Park |There are 2 kinds of vending machines in this place; green and blue. From 0.114h patch 4, these vending machines now offer various Dream Park-themed merchandise. (the green ones sell drinks and snacks for 150夢 while the blue ones have red capsules which contain plushies for 300夢.)

|- | |class="center-text"|Erratic Pillar Lands |This vending machine looks empty, but gives out drink the first time when used. After that, it would have no response even if it gets paid. You need to kick the machine with the Twintail effect in order to get the money back.

|- | |class="center-text"|Floating City |This vending machine is known for being extremely difficult to access. First, you need to donate at least 1000夢 to the shrine found in the Golden Chinatown. After that there will be a 1/65536 chance of one of the washing machines in the Laundromat turning into a red shrimp, which leads to a separated room with more shrimps. Interact with the largest one to enter the Floating City.

|- | |class="center-text"|Flooded Dungeon |You can find this vending machine in one of the area's dark corridors. Upon interacting with it, you will receive a ship in a bottle. Trying to buy another will result in the machine giving you your money back.

Instead of just getting a random drink(or an object) and a heart, Urotsuki holds a red soda can in her hands.You must sit on the bench near the vending machine and press Z key to drink it, and then go to the trash bin to throw it away. (After this you get 1 heart.)

|- | |class="center-text"|Maple Shrine |There are two small orange vending machines which only dispense green tea(which costs 70夢 in here) throughout the maze. They are currently the only reachable vending machines that can become unreachable since, after completing the maze which contain them, it will be skipped afterwards.

|- | |class="center-text"|Mushroom World |This vending machine is broken and will take 10夢 without dispensing anything. To add insult to injury, it laughs at you afterwards. Since the front glass of the machine is cracked, it appears that Urotsuki was not the first customer to be ripped off...

|- | |class="center-text"|Neon Caves |This vending machine has neon blue and yellow outlines, matching the style of the cave system it belongs to. It's blocked by four purple creatures when you enter the area, so you need to chainsaw them off in order to use it.

|- | |class="center-text"|Neon Highway |These glitched vending machines have the similar appearance as the neon silhouettes of Boy Urotsuki found in this area. You can't use them because the boy silhouettes are blocking the way.

|- | |class="center-text"|Scorched Wasteland |This vending machine is badly broken and also seems to be slightly rusted. It only sells empty cans which grant no hearts (of course, because they're empty) for 10夢.

|- | |class="center-text"|Snowy Forest |This large vending machine is positioned isometrically, and has a digital display which shows flashing squares that randomly change colors. You can find it just near the entrance to the Techno Condominium.

|- | |class="center-text"|Snowy Forest (Winter Path) |This vending machine, which bears the colors of the trees nearby, has the top portion covered in snow. It only sells cups of corn potage.

|- | |class="center-text"|Static Noise Hell |This vending machine is red and black, just like the area where it belongs to, and it has a monitor displaying a sine wave. It also costs 130夢 instead of 100 for each purchase.

|- | |class="center-text"|Subterranean Research Center |These two vending machines are unique for having a large screen that shows the number 230, which is the cost of using them.

|- | |class="center-text"|Sugar World |This is a unique vending machine in the sense that four differently-colored hearts can be seen through the glass in addition to what appears to be soda cans.

|- | |class="center-text"|Theatre World |This simple-looking vending machine is located right next to the entrance of Dojo. It sells some unique items, such as fireworks and sweet potatoes with a smile.

|- | |class="center-text"|Toy World |You need to use the Cake effect to access this vending machine. It gives you a shrinking potion, allowing Urotsuki to enter Zodiac Fortress.

Instead of just getting a random drink(or an object) and a heart, Urotsuki holds a red soda can in her hands, then sits on the bench near the vending machine. While sitting, press Z key to drink it, and then go to the trash bin to throw it away. (After this you get 1 heart.)

	Amoeba Woods	Found by going north and west from the entrance from the blue hallway. Next to the machine is a long log that serves as a bench.
	Ancient Aeropolis	Found after exiting the last interior section that leads to Desolate Hospital.
	Ancient Aeropolis	Found by going west of the entrance from Dreary Drains, and then taking the path to the south.
	Ancient Aeropolis	Found by taking the east path when arriving from Dreary Drains.
	Apartments	Found outside of the main building, to the right.
	Aquatic Cafe	Found left of the connection to Rainbow Snow Plateau. If arriving from Mutant Pig Farm, head east past the foliage, rocks and large carrots, then north once at the end. Climb the ladder and go directly south. The lower left wall past the tables has an unseen opening in the center, leading directly to the vendor.
	Aquatic Cube City	Found near the connection to Urotsuki's Dream Apartments, or north of the opening that leads to Firehead's kitchen/bedroom area.
	Archeology Dunes	Found south of the Watching Waters connection.
	Art Exposition	Found in the Tilescape section of the map, nearby the entrance when accessed from the Rainbow Tile section. Follow the same directions as the prior VM, but take the upper doorway once in the Rainbow Tiles section. Only works by stepping on it. An identical machine can be found to the northwest.
	Art Exposition	Found in the room with the large portrait of Urotsuki on a big flower. Take the path to VM 1, but instead go through the ? door that's directly left of said VM. You should find yourself in a small Sakura Forest themed area; take the right warp here. Now in the Cyberpunk City section, take the first ladder that's to your left, then take the ladder on the right, and finally the door on the right. Once in the Rainbow Tile section, take the left doorway to find the Urotsuki portrait room and vending machine.
	Art Exposition	Found in the western part of the main section. Guide

	Aurora Lake	Found left of the cubic structure that leads to Rainfall Ruins.
	Autumn Sky	Found right of the long ladder that leads to Eyeberry Orchard.
	Azure Garden	Found in the second area (where the BGM is slower). After entering through a doorway that takes you one story lower, take the following turns: left, down, left, down, left.
	Azure Garden	Found left of the connection to Magical Passage.
	The Baddies Bar	Found in the bar area. When arriving from Broken Faces Area, go north around the structure, then slightly northwest. The Stretch effect is required to enter this area.
	Balloon Park	Found northeast of the NovAflow NPC in the day variant, and west of the connection to Cerulean School in the night variant.
	Bathhouse	Found outside of the bathhouse. This is a unique white vending machine that sells milk. Initially empty, it becomes stocked after the bathhouse has been entered. This must be done each time the world is entered.
	Beyond	Found after warping once after arriving from Thumbtack World and following along the path. An NPC stands next to it. Alternatively, it is a short distance left of the Rice Field connection.
	Bikini Beach	Found immediately southeast upon arriving from Dream Route. Directly to the east is another pair of identical vending machines, close to the Seaside Circuit connection. Further east is a third pair of identical vending machines.
	Birch Forest	Found south and slightly west upon arriving from Ornamental Plains. Directly north of the portrait that leads to Thumbtack World.
	Birch Tree Docks	Found near the first bench that can be encountered.
	Black Building	Found in the room to the left of the entrance from Purple World.
	Blissful Clinic	Found in the waiting room, to the right of the large window.
	Bloom 99	Found after crossing the bridge.
	Blue Cactus Islands	Found northeast of the structure that leads to Mirror Lake. This vending machine has a silver body and a grayish-green glass.
	Blue Eyes World	Found northeast of the entrance when coming from The Nexus.
	Blue House Road	Found in the car paint shop.
	Blue House Road	Found near some buildings south of the car salesman NPC, just southeast when arriving from Crazed Faces Maze.

	Blue Shape Zone	Found in the southwest corner in the section that you arrive in when coming from Bacteria World.
	Blueberry Farm	Found north and slightly west of the connection from Restored Character World.
	Boogie Street	Found immediately upon arriving from Gray Road. This unique vending machine is similar to the one in Forest World (white with a blue tear design).
	Bottom Garden	Found southwest of the crystal in the garden, to the left after descending the ladder. Flowering vines grow all over this vending machine.
	Breezy Golfing District	Found north of the crocodile.
	Bright Forest: Rainbow Ruins	Found directly west of the door that leads to The Second Nexus. This vending machine has the same rainbow-colored outlines as the area it belongs.
	Burgundy Flats	Found inside one of the rooms on the lowermost level. When arriving from Dream Precinct, head to the right and enter the first door that comes into view.
	Burgundy Flats	Found outside of the buildings.
	CMYK Tiles World	Found at the end of a spiral path. Coming from Monochromatic Abyss, traverse the first three ladders (not counting the one you arrived from). At this point, there is a nearby ladder to the south and one to the north. Take the north ladder, then the one to the east, going downwards. The path here will spiral in a counterclockwise fashion; keep following until you reach a dead-end. Each of these vending machines have the 3 colors (cyan, magenta, yellow), which make up the world they're in.
	CMYK Tiles World	Found directly north of the Monochromatic Abyss connection. Coming from Monochromatic Abyss, traverse the first three ladders (not counting the one you arrived from). At this point, there is a nearby ladder to the south and one to the north. Take the north ladder, and the next two ladders to the north. Go up the stairs and travel directly to the west.
	CMYK Tiles World	Found northeast of the Monochromatic Abyss connection. Follow the same steps as the prior machine. Once at the stairs that lead west, continue to the east to find another small staircase; the machine will be in this section with the rectangular columns.
	Cactus Desert	Found south of the connection to Tricolor Passage (Yellow Path).
	Calcarina Sea: Night	Found in the night version, southeast of the switch that toggles the world between day and night. In order to reach the switch, starting from the vendor in the day version: head left four stars, up four stars, and right one star. At this position, once the world has been toggled to the night version: go down two stars, right four stars, down seven stars, right two stars, and finally up one star. This vending machine consists of magenta neon outlines, which match the style of the area.
	Calcarina Sea: Day	Found northwest when arriving from Robotic Institution. To reach it, go left one star, up two stars, left four stars, and then up one star.
	Candy Shoal	Found northwest of the entrance when arriving from Stony Buildings. Take the following turns at each fork in the path: left, up, up, up.
	Candyfloss Sea	Found south of the isolated area that is accessed via Pale Corridors. Coming from Mini-Nexus, head directly south and wrap around the outside of the isolated area in a counterclockwise direction.
	Cat Cemetery: Halloween Forest	Found shortly after arriving in the Halloween Forest section. Once there, head south and then west at the fork, followed by a short distance northwest. This vending machine looks similar to the one found in the park ruins of the Victorian Drains.
	Cerulean School	Found in the lower left area of the school, near the room that leads to Balloon Park.
	Chainlink Lees	Found in the balcony of the Amphitheater area. The balcony is accessed from the room with the model of Saturn by taking the lower right doorway.
	Chaotic Buildings	Found towards the end of the path to Overgrown City. Before the final two ladders that you would climb to reach this connection, take the nearby ladder down instead.
	Checkered Towers	Found directly east when arriving from Topdown Dungeon.
	Cherry Willow Path	Found northwest of the entrance from Frozen Smile World. Once you've descended the very first part of the path, take the following turns at each fork: right, up, left, up. An NPC sits nearby on a bench.
	Chocolate Tower	Found along the linear path of this world after a couple of screen warps. These vending machines are engraved to the walls of the tower, similar to the ones found in the Aquatic Cube City.

	City of Liars	Found in the lounge area. Next to the lounge entrance is a sign with an arrow pointing to the left and a lit cigarette. These red and black vending machines cost 200夢 for each purchase.
	City of Revival	Found in the main area. From the entrance, head left on to the yellow lines, then immediately up. Once past the grassy section with benches (which should be on your right), turn left.
	Clandestine Research Laboratory	Found four screen transitions to the right from the entrance.
	Clandestine Research Laboratory: Infinite Stairs	Found on the 14th loop of the infinite stairs. This rusty vending machine makes some sinister laughs when you try to use it for the first time.
	Clubhouse Yard	Found a short distance northwest if arriving from Toy Desert. Alternatively, found directly to the left or right when coming from the xylophone path.
	Clubhouse Yard	Found just outside of the Dancheong Corridor.
	Clubhouse Yard: Dancheong Corridor	Found shortly after arriving from Stony Buildings.
	Cocktail Lounge	Found in the rooftop section, just near the doorway that leads to the connection (via NPC) to Shop Ruins. This gray vending machine is round at the top and has small crosses of different colors for display.
	Coffee Cup World	Found a short distance north when arriving from Candy World. Looks like any other vending machine, but gives different snacks depending on the currently equipped effect. Check the Coffee Cup World article for more info.
	Color Capital	Found in the main interior, near the Dark Forest connection. Once arriving in the interior, enter through the opening directly to the south, go the same way once more, and finally turn to the west.
	Color Capital	Found in the main interior. Once arriving in the interior, wrap around the area in a clockwise direction until you find an opening to the east. The machine should be near the end of this short eastward passage.
	Color Capital	Found near the Haunted Head World connection. Flashes between black, magenta, and red colors.
	Colorless Rose Garden	Found in an offshoot of the winding path that leads to Slime Village, where at the fork, going south leads to said location and going west leads to the machine.
	Colorless Valley	This monochrome vending machine is unable to be used due to the gray plants that surround it.
	Confection Estate	Found near the Art Student's room, just after the looping room.
	Conifer World	Found directly south when arriving from Teal District.
	Constellation World: Star Building	Found in the garden area of the star building.
	Constellation World: Star Path	Found outside of the star building. This vending machine has a starry body, matching the atmosphere of its area. It only sells moon potions and star cookies for 50夢.
	Constellation World	Found south of the Lapine Forest connection. This vending machine only sells moon potions and star cookies for 50夢.
	Container Forest	Found near the connection to Wastewater Treatment Plant.
	Cookie Haven	Found east of the structure that leads to Megalith Grove.
	Cosmic Cube World	Found at the end of one of the paths. Coming from Void, continue east at the fork in the path, then take a turn to the south. This vending machine has golden outlines and purple starry body just like the area it belongs.
	Cosmic World	Found near the connection Square Ruins. This is a unique vending machine that matches the style of the Cosmic World. Like its surroundings, it flashes between red and blue to the rhythm of the background music.
	Cotton Candy Haven	Found north of the central cluster of buildings. This is a unique vending machine which matches the colors of the area it belongs to. It is also notable for being suspended in midair by a set of balloons and selling only macarons and cupcakes.
	Critter Village: Hexagonal Tile Factory	Found at the westernmost part of the largest section of this subarea.
	Crossing Forest	Found to the south after getting past the last road.
	Cuckoo Skyline Express	Found at the end of the Cuckoo Station.

	Deluxe Mask Shop	This red-brown vending machine is positioned isometrically at the entrance of the mask shop.
	Depths	This is a tall, white vending machine that is partially submerged in water. It resembles the one found in the Hidden Shoal.
	Deserted Town	This vending machine, though similar in structure to most regular ones, bears a rusty, gray appearance.
	Donut Hole World	This vending machine costs 110夢 instead of the usual 100夢.

	Forest World	This vending machine's design bears white with teal stripes, and is somewhat wide.
	Forest World: Shadow Woman Forest	The same one as above turned completely red; it does not work and only makes a buzzing sound.
	Forgotten Megalopolis	These vending machines looks similar to the ones from Tesla Garden.
	French Street	This vending machine looks similar to the most common red ones, but is actually slightly taller.
	GALAXY Town	This is a unique vending machine that uses the style of GALAXY Town.
	Galactic Park	These are large vending machines with light-purple bodies. You can find a few of them in this area.
	Haunted Forest Town	This vending machine looks broken but works just well as a normal one.
	Hidden Shoal	This is a tall, white vending machine that is partially submerged in water. It resembles the one found in Depths.
	Holographic Chamber	Located after deactivating the holographic module, outside the main area, close to the entrance to Ether Caverns.
	Ice Block World	Shaped like a handheld video game console. Displays an icon and plays sound after interaction.
	Laundromat	This vending machine has a pink color scheme, and is sometimes made inaccessible by stray laundry baskets.
	Laundromat: Floating City	This vending machine is known for being extremely difficult to access. First, you need to donate at least 1000夢 to the shrine found in the Golden Chinatown. 	Luminous Lake	This vending machine changes its appearance according to the 'time' of the area it belongs to.
	Maple Shrine	There are two small orange vending machines which only dispense green tea(which costs 70夢 in here) throughout the maze. They are currently the only reachable vending machines that can become unreachable since, after completing the maze which contain them, it will be skipped afterwards.
	Memory Garden	This vending machine is partially covered by foliage.
	Monolith Jungle	Some of these vending machines in this area are overgrown with vines.
	Mushroom World	This vending machine is broken and will take 10夢 without dispensing anything. To add insult to injury, it laughs at you afterwards. Since the front glass of the machine is cracked, it appears that Urotsuki was not the first customer to be ripped off...
	Mutant Pig Farm	This vending machine's appearance matches the palette of the world that it is in.
	Nazca Valley: Stove	This vending machine has takoyaki-like pattern and only sells takoyaki.
	Neon Caves	This vending machine has neon blue and yellow outlines, matching the style of the cave system it belongs to. It's blocked by four purple creatures when you enter the area, so you need to chainsaw them off in order to use it.
	Neon City	This is an unique vending machine that matches the appearance of the Neon City.
	Neon Highway	These glitched vending machines have the similar appearance as the neon silhouettes of Boy Urotsuki found in this area. You can't use them because the boy silhouettes are blocking the way.
	Old Train Station	This vending machine looks somewhat similar to the gray one found in the Deserted Town.
	Omurice Labyrinth: Vending Machine Isle	There are two types of vending machines in this area; a small gray vendor and a big black one. Both sell only one kind of drinks, though.
	Overgrown Condominium	These two vending machines are the same as above, but look more clear due to lack of the screen filter.
	Overgrown Condominium	This vending machine, which has red, blue, and yellow soda cans, matches the muted gray palette of the room that it is in.
	Pale Corridors	Has a black-and-white frame, matching the surrounding area.
	Pudding World	This vending machine has the same color as the puddings which inhabit the world. It only sells pudding for 200夢.

	Theatre World	This simple-looking vending machine is located right next to the entrance of Dojo. It sells some unique items, such as fireworks and sweet potatoes with a smile.

	Travel Hotel: Balcony	This vending machine has a special event, just like the one from Forest Pier. Instead of just getting a random drink(or an object) and a heart, Urotsuki holds a red soda can in her hands, then sits on the bench near the vending machine. While sitting, press Z key to drink it, and then go to the trash bin to throw it away. (After this you get 1 heart.)
